They were just talking about him on mmm. Garry who we all know isnt fond of ruckmen pointed out Kruezer is up against a 35 year old tonight and is getting beaten. He also said he doesnt do a enough around the ground. Dunstall said he isnt a superstar like other people say he is and is he being scrutinised because he is the number 1 pick. I guess because over the years Carlton havent been getting beaten like we have and they have made finals.

Not having a go at Mick. Just thought it was funny that we went from watching Elmo and Cookie monster and co on stage singing and dancing to speaking at a professional lunch. It make sense that he was very dressed up. Has Greg Denham really gone a bit soft on us and being nice. Is he still calling us the bears?

I saw Mick today with his grand kids at the sesame street world tour show. Glad to see he had a productive day.

Wow one change and its a good one. For the first time in a while ive been happy with this weeks team
-
“He’s been training fully for six weeks now, and he’s had two weeks of full contact training and hasn’t had a hiccup, so he’s in some really good nick Sounds positive about Grimes. It would be good to have him back in the midfield.

So back to reality. Next week its the swans that fair to say will be a bit more of a challenge than the dogs. So will it be just the one change Blease out if he doesnt come up Magner in

So good to see Chip back in that backline. Tom is a great defender but please dont run out of defence with the ball it makes me nervous Maxy said on the radio after the game he needs to get fitter. Said in the last 10 minutes he was feeling it and Minson just kept running. Watts was great. I think he will be one of those players that is better taking a mark on the lead rather than take one on one marks. But keep that performance up and his confidence will soar. Jeremy Howes 2 marks were great and im glad he kicked a couple tonight Dawes just brilliant Rodan we virtually got nothing for and we got bagged for getting him, but tonight he was good and that goal he kicked was so more exciting than anything I ever saw Cale Morton do. Im just happy we got a win
-
How good was his banana goal from the boundary? I agree he was good tonight and he took some nice marks.
-
I knew he'd go back and slot that goal in the last quarter. But what I noticed more about tonight was his leadership. At half time he spoke to the group before walking off and when the dogs were coming back I just saw him speak to the ruckman and the midfield then ran back to the forward line. Im rapt we got him

The trumpeter now only plays at the end if we win. He was on the 2nd deck next to the members but he was drowned out by the crowd and song playing. He has been the only person that Jackson hasn't removed.

he said King could have broken his leg. menawhile White has a caved in face now full of plates.

Ok so the char with Matt Burgan has revealed why magner isnt picked. He was asked 3 times about magner. Im still confused. Answer 1 G'day Matt, Magner's form has been excellent in the VFL. He's obviously right on the cusp of selection, given he's an emergency again this round. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets another guernsey by the end of the season. Last week, the team was based on greater leg speed and this week, the ins and outs have been like for likes with Frawley/Gawn in for Pedersen/Spencer. Matt. Answer 2 G'day Stuie, similar to answer above ... no doubt Magner has been pushing for selection and has been unlucky. Still 10 weeks left in the season, so I'm sure a handful of guys will gain opportunities. Matt Answer 3 G'day Stuie, Grimes comes off the long term injury list in the lead-up to the round 15 clash against Sydney Swans at the MCG. Again, the coaches will have their reasons for Magner being on the cusp of selection. No doubt he's been in great form though in the VFL. Matt.

Heath Shaw got 14 weeks for a $10 bet. Watson admits taking a substance. All I want is the AFL to take the points off Essendon. That would be great.
-
Very cryptic but I know what you're saying. But I don't think we should go after him.
-
The other day when he was butchering the ball my parents wer egetting annoyed. I told them we gave him a 3 year deal. Thye couldnt believe it. The thing I mind strange is Gysberts cant get a game for north.
-
When Paul Roos is motivated to do it. I think when we have a stable board and the other admin positions have been filled.
-
Will a strike be recorded against is name? Of course he is allowed to play this week. He is a golden boy. But if you are getting injected 30-40 times wouldnt alarm bells be ringing. I dont want to say to much because its the same thing Jack is accused of having. I like Jobe but surely his brownlow will be under question. All I want to see happen to essendon is they get a massive fine and stripped of points this season. But who knows what Andrew D will do. The other golden boy is coaching the club and we all know how much the AFL love him.
-
No, look I think we need someone new and fresh from the outside. Remember this was the guy who came in to work with neeld. The same coach that put Adelaide off side and his team were happy to see him go. Nup someone with new idea. But it would be handy if he stayed on doing something.
-
Now Mark Harvey has expressed interest in it. No offence but he had a superstar freo team and couldnt do anything with them. I think we should pass on him. But from the outside its sounds like Peter Jackson wants Roos and Roos only and will be hoping to grind him down.
-
In the last quarter. he did nothing in the first 3. who cares about him. he is up there let it go. Move on.
-
It still shatters me when I read about Hogan in these reports. I just want him in that senior team. How is magner looking?
-
I hope that Watts is now going to played in the forward line permanently for the rest of the season. But I hope we dont see him just dive forward like he did yesterday. It didnt look great and yes he may have got a little shove but Robbo did that in his career and got a reputation for it. I just want to see him take marks and kick goals.

Changes Next Week v Western Bulldogs
dees189227 replied to Straight Sets Simon's topic in Melbourne Demons
Rodan was on Stevens in the 1st qtr. Stevens had 5 clearances and 10 possies. Matt jones went onto him and curbed in influence. I just reckon Magner would be better. Apparently Dawes was sick the night before. I hope he plays because I reckon we could stretch there backline. Frawley in for Pederson. -

AS opposed to Mick who wont answer questions to journos who havent played football. Or last year when he basically had acrack at some poor young journo -
If Spencer gets more weeks than Simpkin then.....
dees189227 replied to DeeSpencer's topic in Melbourne Demons
It looked like McEvoy actually ducked his head to draw a free. But I agree it was just clumsy by Spencer and its just him and his build. He could have done a lot more damage. But I agree he will get suspended but he has a good record I take it, its a shame because he was actually ok yesterday. Simpkin was just weak the way he hit dawes in the jaw behind play. Did you hear stupid BT last night. He said Dawes should have got straight back up and reckon he staged it.
