  1. Considering Petracca played basketball for Australia, I doubt that he relies solely on his big body to dominate games of footy.
  2. I wouldn't be surprised if he is carrying a niggling injury. He works well whilst roaming up the ground and taking chest marks. He's played deep recently which doesn't work when he cant take a mark. Dawes high and Pedersen deep is a better option IMO
  3. Has anyone kicked 36 goals in a season for us this decade? I can't recall
  4. People have short memories. Vickery isn't that bad. He kicked 36 goals in his third year in a team that finished 12th and was focussed on kicking to Riewoldt.
  5. Coniglio is a horrible decision maker and average kick
  6. It's not about punishing Gawn, it's about team balance. Gosh.
  7. Dawes isn't capable of a one-grab mark with arms out in front. I think his hand is permanently cooked.
  8. Langdon, Young, Seedsman and O'Brien would exploit us if Gawn stays in the team. With Dawes coming back in, I don't think Gawn can stay.

  10. Lonergan is the number one target in my book. 183cm, 91kg. 'strong, fearless and skillful.' He has shown at AFL level that he can perform and would suit us to the ground. At the moment he is in a similar position to Dom Tyson, having had a couple of injuries that have allowed others to move ahead of him at the club.
  11. We will still have Gawn, Jamar and Pederson
  12. Considering how hot it will be and how fit Port are, I would not replace Dawes with a tall, but would include another potential midfield rotation, like Michie or Evans.
  13. Win clearances, stop their rebound (overcompensate for Gawn), stop Riewoldt = Win
  14. I would have to say that Lonergan is easily worth a first round pick, but not a top 4 pick (ours) unless we get some decent change. He is the perfect Cross mentee/replacement. I would have him close behind Shiel in order of preference for players from GWS/GC
  15. Tyson's right-footed inside 50 in the last quarter was a real momentum killer. Was being chased down but should have produced a better kick
  16. If Jack Viney actually wanted to hurt Lynch, he'd be pushing up daisies with Georgiou......
  17. There is a lot of Luke Hodge in Christian Salem. It's not surprising to hear that he has tried to emulate Hodge's style. Very, very similar kicking style.
  18. Riley looked great in the highlights. Looks like an absolute bull and had a classy kick inside 50 there. Would be a great inclusion this week against his old mob
