  1. Everybody that is writing off McKenzie for one missed kick at goal is being stupid. Aaron Davey missed from the goal square twice in his career and didn't cop it like this.
  2. It depends on the team/game plan. Simple as that.
  3. I'd prefer Sloane and Suckling as free-agents this year. This would be better for us in terms of team balance and would probably cost about the same as Dangerfield alone.
  4. It's definitely Crossy. Dem calves
  5. McDonald's ability to run with his man and then run off and run the ball forward is invaluable. He was vital in the passage of play that led to Salem's goal against the bombers. Not all key backmen are sublime kicks and not many at all have McDonald's running ability.
  6. Michie's kicking is similar to Judd's, I would say. He is ok at stabbing it short to targets but isn't a creative kick, nor a long and accurate kick. He is good enough for an on-baller.
  7. Garland is our second best small backman and our second best tall backman. Surely he gets in.
  8. We should not be reluctant to give Jones 5 years. He has only ever missed about 5 games in his career.
  9. So the only drawbacks are that it is time-consuming, expensive and may require you to take calcium supplements? May as well drink your own urine, I suppose. Maybe the AFLPA will campaign for a 'Cost of Paleo Allowance'
  10. I think it will be hard for anyone to top Garlett. Dawes has never been a big goal kicker. Hogan is a baby and will probably be roaming up the ground. Nobody else is a bona fide goal kicker. Tyson could come 2nd again in all honesty.
  11. I would say there is a fair bit of room for improvement in the defensive side of his game
  12. There aren't 14 free agents that would yield band one compensation haha
  13. Who gives a [censored] what TDI does/says? It doesn't affect anyone here. I'd be concerned and surprised if any player let anything like that get to them. We get good training reports and photos. Enough said.
  14. Could perhaps be mostly to teach the young midfielders developing at Casey, not necessarily the AFL. that's the only reason I can think of.
  15. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gluconeogenesis Just read it FFS.......
  16. You are embarrassing yourself, mate. The body can synthesise glucose from protein and fat via gluconeogenesis. Excess glucose can be stored as glycogen and then broken back down in to glucose again. Face palm.
  17. Google glycolysis and gluconeogenesis. You don't need to literally consume glucose to fuel your brain.
  18. Plus picks 2, 3, 40 & 53. Very young. That is a lot of expectation on a lot of young players.
  19. If Roos just wants a rebounding HB, then Laverde is the man. However, I'm guessing Roos also wants a leader with an excellent work ethic and mongrel, which sets Lever ahead.
  20. Mundy is a good comparison for Lever. Key defender that may play midfield. Obviously Lever is stronger overhead but has done an ACL. I would give up pick 3 for an 18 year old Mundy in a heartbeat. Our mosquito fleet midfield could use some size.
  21. Jamar**
  22. His highlights don't show much real midfield work but his kicking looks great and I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up as a decent half back flanker
  23. Prefer Reece McKenzie
