I really am suprised at the negativity. For all those continuing to condemn us to the bottom 3 or so.. can you please logically refute the above rationalisation? Surely I am not drawing too long a bow?

but , again , every one of those would have gone at the same pick by every other club except maybe some clubs would have had Watts at #2.. and that's not even a blunder I would still happily keep Watts over the novelty act also we were well comp'd for Scully and Trengove is just another of the many to have injuries ruin a career

surely not. All you need to do is look at the amount of players on teams' lists that have previously played at another club. It is vastly disproportionate to 10 years ago, hell even 5 years ago.

seriously, what is the percentage of players that demonstrate any loyalty whatsoever these days? It's almost non-existent now. Even for blokes like Vney and Grimes I would not be surprised to see them leave for coin.

On-field it's essentially Frawley for Lumumba, Garlett, Frost, Hogan.... pick2, pick3...
