  1. I find it EXTREMELY hard to believe he would have left cash on the table like that.. Freo finished 4th FFS it would certainly be against the trend of every other greedy [censored] in the comp
  2. yeah ok whatever. Anything but admit you were wrong. Dunn's a [censored]
  3. His conduct was to side with a former teammate who is guilty of atrocities against the supporters. You're cool with that?
  4. Really? No difference between the conduct of Clark and the conduct of Frawley?
  5. Dunn went in to bat for CLARK not FRAWLEY nice work
  6. if we don't I'm finished with the sport
  7. Are you kidding me? A bloke carps all over our jumper and its 35,000 supporters with one of the most gutless, dishonest betrayals you will ever see and Dunn backs him up, bagging the supporters.. because he is also just there for a paycheck and doesn't give a rats about US who are the ones it is all about you think that's OK because is a 'former colleague' ? You would never find a senior player at a real club taking that stance funny the comment was later removed huh Dunn himself should be kissing all our feet for paying his wages for many many below average years before he has finally repaid something in the last couple he should be defending the jumper and the supporters not condemning them
  8. exactly there are 1 or 2 players at best in every draft that end up being true top shelf and dangerfield is one of them the odds of either of this year's pick 2 or 3 being that player aren't good
  9. selfish lazy blockheaded gutless f--k sorry it's that kind of day
  10. we need good news in this thread more than a fat kid needs cake
  11. self-righteous, unappreciative Dunn has removed his facebook post, and in turn all the comments at supporters having a go back at him likely somebody at the club saw it and immediately ordered it taken down but it doesn't die because we cut and pasted and quoted it here you would think the club might think about making some kind of statement to address a supporter base that is obviously fuming quite a club we have going here
  12. just realised this gutless princess probably chose Geelong because he knows we'll play them once at the Cattery and he'll avoid the boos
  13. i would love Clark to be forced to read this entire thread at gunpoint, to gain a full-bodied appreciation of precisely what a dog about 40,000 people think he is
  14. pretty sure he's joking man we are jumping at shadows right now
  15. try not to be so melodramatic 1. It seems very likely to me that the official story on all this is at least partially BS. Too much doesn't add up. We don't know for sure to what extent MC was actually wanted back at the MFC. 2. A month ago we thought MC was just a write-off for the club. Now we at least get something. History has shown this could well be a blessing in disguise. 3. The bloke is not very likely to do much damage, hopefully his leg actually breaks off at his first training session 4. Roos is here to rebuild the culture - being free of an obvious dropkick scum like this is positive in that regard 5. Everybody loses players and thinks 'oh woe is me, we are always getting shafted' how would you like to lose Buddy for pick 19?
  16. except that little part about the club officially stating our interest
  17. Roos is here to change the culture. The biggest problem with the culture is having no stars at the club. Why? a) On gameday, the opposition can focus its energy on our younger talent. In successful clubs, these kids get more a free ride because of the talent around them. b) The kids get all the external pressure from the media and supporters. c) There are things about being a professional footballer that rub off on younger players on the training track d) Quality leaders affect the psychology of the group on gameday, moreso in particular situations like close finishes e) Stars make their teammates look better. f) Stars put bums on seats. That's worth money. g) Stars win matches. Wins build momentum and belief. IMO, 2+3 is worth it for sure. Roos clearly feels the same as demonstrated in his quote recently "We are clearly talking to all clubs about pick two. Our fans can’t wait for another three or four years, we have to get cracking to become more competitive.” This player will have a gigantic, immediate impact. I find it amazing that anyone who has followed this putrid side for the last 8 years could argue. How many years of watching kids get thumped will it take to convince some people? This is the moment to make a big upwards push in our trajectory. Get it done MFC.
  18. I am more used to hearing players quoted with things like 'Premierships are nice, but an extra $500K over the course of my career is nicer' oh wait nobody has EVER told the truth like that the media is a charade and a joke, lies for simpletons
  19. agree we need drastic measures to change the rut that this club is stuck in. Getting Roos himself was one such measure, now we need serious talent and we need it now Having said that, if we miss out on Dangerfield but we draft similarly to last year and get a few solid ones like Tyson, Vince and Cross I will be pretty happy there too Anything but hanging on to high draft picks and watching them get rolled every week. Anything but that, please.
  20. there's also the possibility that clubs and managers deliberately put false stuff out there for their own strategic reasons
