  1. Maybe I've been watching too many 90's games recently, but he reminds me of another great #11 (RIP). I thought all he wanted was stability in a position, and to get paid handsomely. He's getting the latter, and been injured too much for the former. After almost 3/4 of a year, will the former really be a problem?
  2. Nuts to that. Frawley McDonald Jones Hogan Boyd Clark in the ruck. Even better.
  3. Take out that rubbish 'leadership' category (which he wasn't recruited for), and he's equal top, even with the kicking.
  4. This is why Jordie is invaluable to this team. http://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/afl-premiership/western-bulldogs-superstar-ryan-griffen-wins-his-second-charles-sutton-medal/story-e6frf3cc-1226710917099 So many here want Lingy to be an assistant coach? We have his heir apparent in our midst. Their B&F only won 16 disposals and gave away 3 frees. In a free-flowing R23 match. By the time Jordie is not in our best 22, we'll have won 3 flags. In 5 seasons.
  5. If Nicholson isn't delisted this year, then I just give up.
  6. Having not read any of this thread; MelbourneFC: At least it can't get any woooooorrrrr.......welll damn.
  7. I reckon we should get Choco and bring in Laidley as an assistant. That'd put the fear of God into them, quicksticks.
  8. Thankfully, despite poor governance, we didn't decide to fight the AFL and took our medicine. Essendon are on a hiding to nothing at the moment, and I fail to see how fighting against them will help their cause, especially since the charges are being laid by the AFL.
  9. Yes. We were given a strict ruling because the AFL believed we were harbouring a rogue comedian in Chris Connolly.........
  10. This is what concerns me about this. While I'm not sad that Harrington's gone, to make the position of list manager redundant seems a little off to me. Especially if the CEO has recently said this!
  11. I can't believe people take any stock in what Neeld says in these after he was censored in his second after-game presser of his career. Toeing the party line at its best.
  12. Congratulations on completely missing the point.
  13. IMO, yes. We've all heard scuttlebutt of how lazy this playing group was circa 2009-11. The issue is that he has had to enforce standards that should be assumed for professional footballers.
  14. You really think he hasn't been pulled into line after blasting them after the Brisbane game after round one last year, when he laid into the playing group for lack of effort?
  15. And how is this Neeld's fault? Once again, you've identified that it is the fault of the PLAYERS. They've already buried one coach. They should not be allowed to do it to another.
  16. "COACHES SHOULDN'T HAVE TO COACH EFFORT AT AFL LEVEL" - Chris Dawes 19/05/2013 Despite all that has been said about Neeld, I refuse to crucify him based on what has been produced by this playing group. Unless we see week in, week out effort from this lazy as sin playing group, I don't think we can see what Neeld has to deliver. IT'S THE PLAYERS, STUPID!
  17. IN: Casey OUT: Anyone who took the field at Subiaco today
  18. Might I copy this link: http://www.melbournefc.com.au/video/2013-05-19/mark-neeld-and-chris-dawes-postmatch-media-conference EFFORT SHOULD NOT NEED TO BE COACHED AT AFL LEVEL. The laziest bunch of sucks that ever sucked!
  19. Lazy F ucking Bastards
  20. When they actually give a f uck. I've never seen a weaker bunch of c unts take to the field under the guise of an afl team. Slack slack slack.
  21. Who must go? After the Dawes and Garland pressers over the last 2 weeks, my mind is made up. THE ENTIRE PLAYING LIST. I've never seen a lazier bunch of crunts take to a playing field. Slack [censored] crunts.
  22. Harvey and Wallace raised as option, but no mention of Laidley? Farcical.
  23. Well said, Fan. I can give a personal experience of this, being elected to a board of a local community organisation. Not afraid to admit, I was an absolute failure, mainly because I was naive as to what the board's actual job is. I'd be better now, given that knowledge, however my previous posting will work against me, and I know this. However, I think this displays the naivete displayed in allowing boards to be voted on by 'one and all', without some kind of vetting process by more experienced people, trained in these areas.
  24. So you're saying these blokes just happened to stumble upon a career of playing AFL-level football? What a load of crap. Once again, this playing group SHOULD NOT have to have emphasised to it how important effort is at any level of football, yet they seem too dumb to realise that. How this is Neeld's fault is beyond me. Seeing this, it's no surprise they can't grasp Neeld's gameplan. They can't even comprehend the basics of Australian Rules football. It's the players.
