  1. Well stated-
  2. I agree that Petterd is in the top 25 --however question if he is good enough to get into the top 22.He possibly could push out Jetta and furthermore play on a wing. The team looking like: Bartram Warnock Rivers Grimes Frawley Garland Morton Moloney Petterd Green Watts Bate Davey Miller Jurrah Jamar McKenzie Scully I: Gysberts, Trengove, Jones, McDonald. Even Jurrah could play on a wing allowing Petterd to go forward.
  3. Very good post- respect your viewpoint as always.Very well put. As they say, a contract is not signed till it is!
  4. Ricky Petterd told you and I at Junction Oval several weeks ago that he would be here next year.Don't you believe him ?
  5. Yep--his heart beats true for the Red & the Blue.Just imagine when we get Viney- the mess we will do in the guts. GO DEES !
  6. Yep - a new update PLEASE--Thanks for the memory
  7. GREAT POST
  8. Cheney like all players did not put in a good one against Willy- however I was there watching the game and I would have rated him as one of the best. His performances over the 10 games played would have seen him as the best performed by a MFC player. He could play back pocket or off a half back flank.Could replace Bartram or Bruce.
  9. On current form- Cheney will get a game in the MFC side before Strauss.
  10. I think that Bruce may retire- having problems keeping up with the pace of the game.

  12. I think we should have a real look at the VFL and other leagues- Port Melb have 2 worth a look & we have Simpson & McDonald at Casey. The 2 at Port are Callum Sinclair - Port Melbourne Adrian Bonaddio -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: Callum Sinclair D.O.B.: 23 Sep 1989 Height (cm): 200 Weight (cm): 95 Name: Adrian Bonaddio D.O.B.: 26 May 1986 Height (cm): 195 Weight (cm): 112 Previous Club(s): Adelaide / Port Melbourne
  13. seems ruddy too hard. If indeed Jamar needed a rest- whom should ruck for us- PJ or Spence?
  14. If anyone deserves a game it is CHENEY.
  15. We may bring out a 7ft or taller Chinese in a year or two whom has been a basketballer for whom we ask the AFL for a subsidy.
  16. thanks KC- I am one whom was interested in the outcome. How many games has Watts played for Casey? I thought 5.
  17. I think Cam should be preparing for retirement even possibly next year.He has done a good solid job- but others are moving ahead of him IMO..
  18. We are all aloud an opinion- but this is just ruddy ridiculous not having Jamar in.Hate to have him as our next coach with this judgment.
  19. Thank you Dan for your comments- I agree with your point re the quality of the rucks at Collingwood- however to ruck for 95 minutes against those taller players must exhaust him.
  20. It is my opinion that Jamar is currently the most important player in our club? He defines the centre clearances and will be pivotal with the progress of our younger brigade --- your thoughts?
  21. One of the biggest thrills I got yesterday was seeing Mark Jamar beat the daylights out of Jolly. winning 33 hit outs (including 15 centre hit outs) as opposed to the Magpie’s 18. The 26-year-old also claimed 25 disposals and took five marks, including three contested in the draw against the Magpies. His efforts drew praise from Bailey post-match. Further to this,Luke Darcy says- I’ve watched Mark Jamar quite a bit this season and I think he’s the most improved player in the competition. He had career-high numbers - 25 possessions and 33 hit-outs - against Collingwood and stood up in the big moments. He was against quality opposition in Darren Jolly and Josh Fraser and he took them apart for the second time this season. For me he’s a standout who’s improved his game more than anyone else going around. He’s big, strong and, without much support in the ruck department at Melbourne, seems to have really developed this year. I agree- Do you. He would have to be close to being the leader in our B& F so far this year.
  22. Re Shaw- you are correct re Dunn- a great coaching move as well.
  23. Bruce would not get in my best 22 . Virtually gone IMO- he may even retire before season end.
  24. I just watched the replay to confirm that in the finals he played off half back but the most signifacant point your raise he basically ran off the wing and through the guts. Kicked a great goal from the centre.
  25. Sometimes- you should read your own terms and conditions- one should knock players- and in particular injury prone.Meeson did extremely well when fit last year.He looked as if he could become No.1 ruckman.
