  1. WATTS should play as a roving tall forward- similar to what he is currently doing.Ditto jurrah- however both have the ability to adapt to any position as it requires.
  2. Definatey a project player whom I feel will be picked up around pick 22 or later.
  3. He is however the makings of a very good footballer IMO whom would be ideal as a backstop for Jamar and a target as a tall forward.
  4. Maybe and most likely wishful thinking.
  5. I accept your point totally, however, as Panos was picked as the best full forward in his year doesn't mean any player is suited. All I am saying is, generally, most of the 22 are picked and the top 12 are usually from the All-Australian team.Darling was picked in the year before but seemed not to produce last year to get into the team again.May have gone backwards or others caught up with him. This is similar to Jack Fitzpatrick whom we picked up for pick 50.He was outstanding as an Under 16 but dropped off basically due to ill health.Starting to pick himself back up.
  6. The club will pick the best & most suited player to add to our list.I definately think he will be there at 12.He didn't even make the All Australian team, being: 2010 Under-18 All-Australian Team Defenders: Ben Jacobs (Vic Metro), Matt Watson (Vic Metro), Dyson Heppell (Vic Country), Shaun Atley (VC), Patrick McCarthy (SA), Brodie Smith (SA) View highlights Midfielders: Jared Polec (SA), Daniel Gorringe (SA), Andrew Gaff (Vic Metro), Mitch Hallahan (Vic Country), Anthony Miles (NSW/ACT), Tom Liberatore (Vic Metro) View highlights Forwards: Harley Bennell (WA), Lucas Cook (Vic Country), Adam Treloar (Vic Country), Jayden Pitt (Vic Country), Steven May (NT), Josh Caddy (Vic Metro) View highlights Interchange: Sam Day (SA), Josh Bruce (NSW/ACT), Josh Green (TAS), Sam Darley (TAS) Josh Caddy or Andrew Gaff would be my pick at 12 if still there.
  7. Find this post unfitting at this time.Talk about a player putting his body on the line -wow and came out with a fractured back. JS would not accept him being traded IMO. Gutsy and determined and I wish we had a few more like him.GO Jonsey GO.Also his best friend is our ex captain and confidant to Jim Stynes-Greg Healy.
  8. You took the words right out of my mouth.I wonder whom has been in your ear.Maybe me?
  9. Agree- Jamar has developed in becoming the most important player in our team IMO,however we need to find some support for him-whether the FD believe we have it now or need to trade. This is a major evaluation right now.
  10. TMac is only about 7 weeks older than Strauss. He is a 190 cm utility whom are hard to find.Has played in a key back position most of the year and done well; could become a half back flanker, winger..definately worth holding in my opinion.
  11. Good points you & RR raise. All I was pointing is -if Mark Willliams or Josh Mahoney moved on-then a vacancy would exist and Shane would be an ideal replacement. However you raise another valuable point he maybe suited in a role in say player welfare.Or indeed ,ark Williams mat move into a welfare role.
  12. agree- you tell them so-Rude Boy.He'll kick 60 next year.
  13. Agree -re his decision making. He seems slow in the mind and slow in the body movement.May have bulked up too much IMO would be lucky to hold his spot in 2011, let alone in 2012. Will be in the leadership group, but heaven help us if he is captain.
  14. May even replace a Mark Williams or a Josh Mahoney whom may want to move on.
  15. That has been expected for a while.
  16. Demon Hill- at least you have a positive attitude.I like that.
  17. A fair assessment- some may part way soon.Actually very soon.Next week.
  18. For once I agree with you but the Enforcer ,now Known as E25,is just that- tries to enforce his views on others.
  19. Agree and well explained.Scully is one of the fittest players in the league. He actually will also get fitter- missed pre season for most part due to injury.Only started in late Feb,therefore watch out next year. Will be golden. Trengove ran out of puff.
  20. Yes and some would like Maloney to captain us-What a joke.He will be lucky to get a game next year.
  21. I also felt the players had lost confidence in these two- a huge pre season for both or out the door they go.
  22. I agree- we went into this match down several players because of injury however- several just didn't do the job. Lost it at the selection table- Bail should have played as a tagger on Harvey. He killed Jones- killed us all day. Should have put Scully or McKenzie on him right from the start. We carried far too many-Garland put in a shocker and has been carried for weeks now.Newton is not up to it.We know what we need now- so up to us to draft again well.Need a fast crumbing back- similar to Harbrow at Bulldogs- another tall flexible player similar to a Ben Reid at Collingwood- a bulked up young tall- similar to a Chris Dawes at Collingwood -a ruckman(as stated several times- Mitch Clark would do me fine and a 189/190 bulked up centreman -similar to a Scott Thompson to get it out of the guts.Trengove maybe the one- but needs to get into the gym straight away.A HUGE pre season is required. Also changes required to our football dept. Like to see a new forward coach and a full time ruck coach.Wouldn't mind Dean Laidley becoming our Director of Coaching as well..
  23. He could be a late developer ,similar to Jamar. He also could not get fit due to a back injury for his first two years.
  24. Good on ya RBB- this poster E25 formally the Enforcer has got away far too often in his abuse of me & others.Should have been barred yonks ago and he wants to become a CEO of the MFC.-just a [censored]
  25. I'll be there with family and friends seeing the second last win for 2010.The last being in China in October.
