Too many B graders, and with our bookends out in TMac and May we just are not cutting the mustard.

Unless we can find that killer instinct I’m afraid it will be more of the same. Just look at the Hunger a team like Richmond has, going hammer and tongs for 4 quarters . If we don’t have that desire to monster the opposition and win at all costs ,we will be just making up the numbers.

Let’s hope he gives the edge we are so desperate for.

I just think we have too much of the same type of player in contested ball getters like Oliver, Viney and Brayshaw who can’t all play in the middle together because only one can extract ball right? From then on you need to use it, and I believe we simply don’t have enough good runners and users. Trying to play contested ball players like Brayshaw on the wing doesn’t really work.

Thought Jetta was terrible today, and yes, even a Wagner would have done better.

Really worried about Brayshaw too, hasn’t looked remotely interested all year. Just doesn’t look happy.

Feels good to have a win. Goes to show that when players such as Viney and McDonald play to their potential we look a much better side. Forward line looked much better, with a bit more space and good movement.

Im afraid it would take 3 or 4 wins in a row for me to get interested again , been let down far too many times. Im going to the game of course, but not feeling exited. Really looking forward to a hot pie.

I’ve been totally bored with Footy this year. Im sure it has some sort of correlation to the way we are performing, but I’m just not enjoying it as spectacle, and find myself turning off at quarter time and watching a movie or something. I can’t stand the modern day callers and commentators and finding it all a little contrived. Maybe im just old school, as today’s footy isn’t a shadow of what it used to be.

We won’t make finals so time to experiment with the forward line. Fritsch must be given an extended run in there and I’d like to see Jones and Viney tried as small forwards , as Viney would bring enormous tackling pressure and Jones can often find the big sticks

Out TMac, Garlett, Spargo , Wagner In Preuss, Lockhart, Dunkley, KK. Fritsch must play Forward as he can mark the ball and could be a Jayden Stephenson type if left up there to develop .

If I find out at the end of the season that TMac had been playing injured all season ,with Preuss stuck in the twos I will be ropable.
