Lewis Out - Tom Sparrow In
I would have thought Oskar Baker would be more ready to debut than Tom, he would give us a bit of extra pace too, but having said that I hope young Sparrow flies high today.

If Pruess is right I reckon he will play, especially with Smith out.

Big Improvers/Standout New Players
Joel Smith is my pick for a huge year. Topped the league goalkicking in the JLT, and with his leap and athleticism will hold down a spot up forward for us.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Looks like his so called “Mates “ in Perth aren’t exactly steering him in the right direction

This is a chat forum isn’t it? Never had an opinion on anything mate?

Farewell Jesse Hogan
It’s interesting to note that our forward line used to consist of Hogan, Jurrah and Clarke, who we all thought were world beaters. Just goes to show it takes a lot more than natural talent to succeed.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
I’m not so sure if it will ever click for him, likes partying too much. The clock is ticking.........

Farewell Jesse Hogan
I always felt football was secondary in his life , and no wonder with all the stuff he has gone through. I doubt whether he will reach his full potential and I feel he is a candidate for possible early retirement.

Sam Weideman + contract
Yeah I’m just being ultra conservative and proving a point that we do have to rely on any one player.

Sam Weideman + contract
I think it’ll be more like 50 from TMac 30 from Weed 25 from J Smith 20 from Melksham 20 from Petracca
-
Sam Weideman + contract
Already showed enough in the finals, and should only get better as he gets older. We wont have to rely on him solely as TMac is the No. 1 forward. Joel Smith kicked the most goals out of anyone in the whole competition in the JLT and could be a revelation up forward. The Hunt experiment also looks promising, and guys like Melksham and Petracca always chime on for a couple. I think our forward line has the potential to go to another level this year.

Steven May Suspended for 1 Match
It was well after he disposed of the ball. There was no need for it

Steven May Suspended for 1 Match
It was off the ball, and head high so he deserves a week. Of course I’d love him to get off , but would be shocked if he did.

POST MATCH DISCUSSION: Melbourne vs Richmond - JLT 01
You can see why we recruited May and Lever, especially when you see Frosts lack of football nous

GAME DAY: Melbourne vs Richmond - JLT #1
Wouldn’t say they do their job well. Stretch can’t kick and Hunt is not much better

GAME DAY: Melbourne vs Richmond - JLT #1
I know it only a praccy match but there are a few blokes out there who are playing for a spot in the side and showing absolutely zilch
