The people who whinge about us paying too high a price are probaby the same ones who complain that we always get killed by the likes of Ben Brown and Joe Daniher , Josh Kennedy and the like. Make no mistake, if we had him this season we would have made the finals quite comfortably. i guess they would prefer an untried teenager at pick 18 or something than a intercept machine such as Lever. I'm always concerned when people say give them time to develop ,re OMac etc... If you're serious and pushing for finals you cannot afford that luxury,the penny has to drop at some stage. Casey is where they should be developing until they bang down the door. You don't see people "developing" in the Premier league or in most other top level sport for that matter.

Recruit of the year and probably doesn't need to tackle as much because he either spoils it or gets it himself.

I've been a fan and he has mostly been good this year with a few lapses, but what he brings us is leadership direction and experience, even getting into the heads of our younger players would build enormous self belief. Should be great this year and next, but not sure about a third year as he is showing signs of slowing down.

The Media stuff us just part of the journey , you've got to learn to deal with that stuff to be a good team as well. It was always going to come once we got some decent players.
