Goody is good, that’s why his name is Goodwin , because we are now having multiple good wins.

We might scrape into 4th if we can maintain healthy percentage. If not we finish 5th or 6th

What no one has said is that after Lever went off in the first quarter, Harmes stepped in and played the role to perfection. What if we stick with Harmes in that role as he plays tall and can run off as well? We could then add another midfield runner like Stretch or Hunt. Runnng mids are Collingwood’s strength and we should be looking at a plan to combat this instead of just thinking how to replace Jake.

I feel a bit sorry for Dom to find himself out of the team, but even though he has accumulated possessions, he often lacks intensity , very similar to Watts. We are starting to see that this is a non negotiable with Goody.

The logical thing would be that they would be having a very close look at Casey today and whoever stands out from Hunt, Smith and Frost gets the nod.

Gutted for Lever but Harmes did a good job replacing him. Joel Smith is the perfect in for Lever. Vince looks done, unless he played a tagging role. Lewis can be frustrating at times with those dinky kicks that fall short. Jetta was outstanding and should be all Australian back pocket. Fritsch is an absolute beauty .

I’m absolutely in awe of Jesses form this year. He has taken the next step and has developed into much more than a key forward. As some commentators have mentioned his huge tank and Riewoldt like presence and work rate have seen him develop beyond to what I could’ve dreamed this season.

Also with success comes the inevitable backlash and the haters as well. Id rather that than being pitied. It just gives us extra fuel to prove them wrong, which is a good thing.

The Media can’t stop talking about us. Our numbers are off the charts not only for this season but all time club history and AFL. Its Insane , and my head feels like exploding reading it all, just not used to it.

There really is no excuse for the completely irrational Friday night scheduling and rewarding teams for poor performance when this weird favoring of Carlton goes against there own policy of giving deserving teams the timeslot. unforgivable in my book.

It’s part and parcel of having a good side, as well as the success it also inevitably comes with hard luck stories of those that miss out.

The additions of Brayshaw, TMac and Viney have finally given us the perfect balance we’ve been after. Youngsters Fritsch and Spargo really contribute and it’s almost impossible to see anyone get dropped from this side other than a run of poor form or a rest . Out Depth is the best ever, with players like Garlett, Tyson, Pederson and Hunt who would almost walk into most sides unable to get a game at the moment.

We have developed the talent, now we have the belief. GO THE MIGHTY DEES!!!
