  1. Incredible night really, all well deserved awards, and hopefully the precursor of bigger things to come.
  2. I personally think Clarry is the best mid in the league , but I fear Trac and Gawn will take votes off him and make it difficult for him to win the medal. Having said that I put a nice bet on Clayton at the start of the season and will be riding him home. If not, then a Norm Smith medal will look just as good around his neck.
  3. I’m gutted I cant go and see my beloved Demons in the finals and so are my kids , but as I said to them, this team is good enough to have prolonged success and hopefully we will see many more finals back at the G in the coming years. As one of our recruiters told me in a private conversation a couple of years ago. ā€œ This groups got 2 , maybe 3 flags in themā€. Tha gave me a lot of hope.
  4. It’s bittersweet not being able to see our beloved team in the finals after being long suffering. I’d go anywhere to watch them but it doesn’t look like the various state governments will let us in.
  5. Our greatest modern day midfielder
  6. 6. Oliver 5. Gawn 4. Pickett 3. Langdon 2. Lever 1. Petracca
  7. We were , jumping up and down, shouting , crying, you name it! That was one of the the best Captains performances I’ve ever seen by Maxy. That last quarter was gargantuan.
  8. Gee I wish we kicked to leading forwards like other teams do.
  9. Our two biggest problems surface when it’s against good opponents. Centre clearances and forward connection
  10. Looks like the umps have backed Geelong tonight
  11. Not impressed by either of these teams. I reckon Swans, or GWS could beat them
  12. Why not the Gabba again? Easier to get there than bloody Perth
  13. I’d go to Perth for a grand final but can’t afford to quarantine, so that and the cost will be a big issue for supporters. Id rather a 50% capacity MCG with mandatory covid tests taken in a 3 day window before the game and shown before entry.
  14. So there’s some big ins in TMac, May and Viney Candidates to be dropped are Sparrow, Jordan, Melksham, J. Smith and Hibberd. Two of those will be safe unless they decide to bring in a Jones or a Bedford/Chandler. Cant see Weed getting back in now unless there’s an injury to a key tall forward.
  15. 6. Fritsch 5. Gawn 4. Petracca 3. Lever 2. Jackson 1. Langdon
  16. Maxy channelled Big Jim today.
  17. Good hit out really. Still things to work on and I’m certain we can go up a gear. The Fritsch magnet!!
  18. John Ralph just reports his own opinion. Nothing official about what he said.
  19. The Fritsch magnet
  20. Jordon going missing again, that’s about 5 weeks in a row now.
  21. I just can’t work out how Sparrow gets a game ahead of Chandler or Bedford
  22. Big Brenny Brown looking the goods
  23. I’ve said before and I’ll say it again. Salem’s disposal is very ordinary under any sort of pressure , especially handball.
  24. They know better than we do, and Joel Smiths training form might’ve been exemplary . He can also fill a variety of roles He is obviously in their thinking being named as an emergency several times.
  25. It’ll be Weed or Smith in for TMac
