How many senior games did he end up playing?

I rate him highly as a footballer and especially as that outside winger we need, but I’ve heard some horror stories about his off field behavior , which I’m hoping are all behind him.

Always really liked him and hoped like hell he would succeed . Very popular around the club and a genuinely nice guy. But lacked that mean competitive streak which I hope he finds at his new club. All the best Weed.

I’m still scratching my head at how we lost a generational talent who was a top three pick and Premiership star, and we didn’t even receive a pick in the top 10.

He was always going back home. Otherwise we would have tied him up with a longer deal a year ago. 7 million to go back home and play for the club you supported as a kid? Who wouldn’t take that deal of a lifetime?

I’d say they just want to make sure we don’t get caught short again while we are in this premiership window . Last season when TMac went down it cost us dearly and BBB has always managed an ongoing injury and could go down anytime. Personally id like us to go with a rejigged forward line using JVR and Petty ( who I really feel have the goods) and either TMac or Brown, or a Josh Bruce as that next tall.

Turner is the ideal replacement for Petty if he goes forward, he looked great in the VFL grand final and after another preseason will be ready. The resting Ruck plays forward anyway so maybe alternate with Grundy in the forward pocket. Salrms skills will be much needed on the wing to deliver pin point passes to the forwards and Brayshaw can play his role down back. ( maybe they could alternate)

I thought I’d have a go at changing things up with a few positional changes for next season that might give us lift and hopefully be strong contenders again by using player’s strengths . Brayshaw was all Australian squad at half back and Petty is the competitive beast we need at full forward. Salem on the other wing to utilize his elite kicking to the forwards. Turner looked very good in the Casey. Grand final and will be better than Thommo. Another preseason and he will be ripe to take that spot, and we also have Joel Smith who can play the role.
