  1. After seeing all that, I still believe we are the best team in it. If we pull our bloody finger out!
  2. Incredible first week of finals really
  3. Ridiculous thread
  4. ANB - Chook Head Off
  5. 1. We go to water under real sustained pressure and intense tackling . 2. We donโ€™t apply enough pressure on the opposition 3. We donโ€™t have a key forward There is no getting outta jail when teams allow us to win the contested ball then pressure us around the contest, sweating on our mistakes, then run and spread .
  6. Petracca may not play He has a hairline fracture of the fibula
  7. The motivation for wanting to win it for their supporters and family may be having the opposite affect, as thereโ€™s a heavy weight of expectation . Last year they played with more freedom and fun when anything was possible, living away from home together creating that bond. They have no choice but to dig deep and find something really special now.
  8. Anyone have any idea in what day this game is likely to be played next weekend?
  9. 6.May 5. Oliver 4. Frittata 3. Langdon 2. Sparrow 1. Gawn
  10. Hunt and Melksham have been great in the last 5 games but putrid tonight. We just canโ€™t handle that intense pressure . Nibbler was absolutely terrible. Salem was no where to be seen Without Oliver and May we lose that by ten goals plus. We are very Suspect under pressure .
  11. Only one of two explanations Rigged or complete idiots that hate Max Gawn are making the decisions
  12. The boys are on a mission and seem to have that aura of confidence . I think they know that our best is THE best in the competition
  13. Thereโ€™s is no doubting that Goody hasnโ€™t showed his hand all year as itโ€™s all about being at our best come finals time. Id say he still has a few tricks up his sleeve, to throw off and bamboozle the opposition in whatโ€™s to come. We look fit and fresh too, so the loadings mid year look like they are bearing fruit right now when it really counts.
  14. Who is the better player out of Chandler and Bedford? I canโ€™t split them
  15. Weโ€™ve dealt with two games in a row of extreme tackling pressure , which will hold us in good stead for the following weeks. Its been almost freaky how Collingwood and Carlton managed to sustain that intense pressure for 4 quarters. Good prep for next week and beyond
  16. Harmes for Sparrow
  17. 6. Brayshaw 5 . Melksham 4. Oliver 3 . Viney 2. Trac 1. Kozzie
  18. The message from the AFL is that The head is not sacrosanct
  19. I still believe we are the best team in it. For me the only factors that play against us are Geelongs absolute desire to win a flag, with the timing , new recruits and form line in their favour and this ridiculous wave that Collingwood are on. Next two weeks will tell a lot though and we must win both and stay in the top 4 to give us the best chance. Van Rooyen could be an X factor up forward worth considering.
  20. Canโ€™t believe how bad Iโ€™m feeling still. Been sitting in my guts all day.
  21. The amount of times they scored setting up through Sidebottom who seemed without a man all night on his wing was ridiculous
  22. They turned up the pressure in the second half and totally smothered us. Hate to say it it but they wanted it a little more. Silly boy Langdon giving them extra motivation
  23. That was the most painful loss I can remember in a long time.
  24. Will be lucky to get 60k in this ordinary weather
