    6. Lever 5. Bowey 4. Clarry 3. Brown 2. Hunter 1. Spargo
  2. I was really disappointed in Viney tonight, thought he would be champing at the bit. I drop Harmes and TMac for Hibberd and Van Rooyen.
  3. As long as Gawn is ok , I’m fine with an 11 point loss against a contender on their slippery hole of a deck, without four of our top liners . They came out with a point to prove and our attitude was off most of the night. We will learn and move on , but we need Max , Kozzie and May in this team.
  4. All I really care about is that Max is ok. We will bounce back
  5. One of the worst nights of footy I’ve ever watched
  6. I don’t think Grundy has taken a mark
  7. TMac is a liability
  8. With our three most impactful players in Gawn , May and Picket missing all they have to do is stop Oliver and Trac which they are doing.
  9. McDonald is a real worry , can’t take a contested mark to save himself
  10. If Max has done his knee it is season over for us
  11. We look off the pace.
  12. Yeah I reckon they’ll give May till the last minute and Thommo will be traveling emergency and a possible late in. Melksham the sub again.

Dangerfield is proving to be a pretty ordinary captain so far
  14. Exactly what I was thinking when watching him yesterday. Doesn’t Have Clarry, Trac and Viney at his feet anymore.
  15. In general I believe that this years group should even be an improved model , not only with the addition of Grundy and Hunter, but the improved maturity of players such as Sparrow and Rivers. Bowey and Spargo in that category as well. The other factor is the bigger bodies , like Pickett and Sparrow.
  16. Thought Lever really stood up in Mays absence. Bowey is Mr reliable Kozzie has arrived as a complete player, looks bigger and more powerful and will be a nightmare match up, as if they didn’t have their hands full already with Clarry and Trac. TMac looked out of sorts , but it’s a positive to kick a winning score with TMac down and Fritter out. BBB will hold down that Full forward spot bar injury.
  17. 6. Kozzie 5. Clarry 4. Gawn 3. Lever 2. Trac 1. Brown
  18. Gawn will go back for sure and Grundy will drift forward after the main bounce.
  19. I’d say probably because we already have three talls there with Brown, TMac and the resting Ruck.
  20. Based on who I’ve seen 1. Flower 2. Ox 3. Clarry 4. Trac 5. Max Honorable mentions to Stynes, Hardeman, Neitz, Farmer and Jakovich
  21. Has he ever played as a key forward before?
  22. Before we recruited Langdon and Hunter, we were desperate, and I mean DESPERATE for decent wingers and some outside ball movement. Such important pieces of the puzzle now.
  23. If Fritsch and Viney are fit , then they come in for Laurie and Woewodin, which will leave Chandler as the sub as Fritter takes his spot in the forward line. Spargo and ANB are looking good as the small forwards along with a mid rotating Kozzie. McVee and Bowey have also done enough to keep their spots down back. Hibbo, Woey, and Van Rooyen emergencies.
  24. I was very impressed with Bowey and ANB today, really hungry for it and good decision making. Hunters goal on the left deep in the pocket was masterful. Sparrow was much better than last week, but Harmes still goes missing a fair chunk . The ruck Combo will be a huge ask for opposition to quell, and I get the feeling it will give Maxy a new lease on life. Even Woey looked pretty good when he came on in the last. I’ve got my money on Trac for the Brownlow, early call I know , but he just looks like a primed beast
  25. We should see some more skillful ball movement this season , and better delivery into the forward line with Kozzie on ball and Hunter on the wing . I just watched the replay of the match again and I agree with Binman that McVee will be in the round one side , he was a real stand out. If Salem and Fritsch are back for the season opener, Harmes might be an out, but I have a feeling they want to give Chandler more of a run. Hibberd was too good for the seconds, so a couple will miss out but it’s a good problem to have. I also reckon we will see the best of Petracca more consistently this year, he is looking scary good.
