May having a nightmare quarter
-
One thing Weed can’t say is is hasn’t been given his chances. He has just failed to grab them more often than not.
-
6. Trac 5. Clarry 4. Langdon 3. May 2. Brayshaw 1. Viney
-
No rucks and the most one sided pathetic umpires performance I’ve ever seen and we still won by 5 goals away from home.
-
I’ll never question TMac again Makes you realize how important good talls in Maxy, Jacko and TMac are.
-
No Gawn or Jacko is costing us big time .Weed just can’t win any contests at all
-
I just want to see high energy levels and good work ethic from Weed and Mitch Brown today
-
Gus has to make the final team. He has been outstanding all season
-
Bedford- Please never drop
-
He said in an interview recently , that we haven’t seen the best of him yet. Looks like it has arrived.
-
When we play our game plan and everyone plays their role , it’s Dees footy and it’s the best footy going around. When the stakes are for real the boys stand up and show who is number one.
-
Gee that game from Viney was so bloody good almost made me cry

Fremantle Have Reportedly Offered Luke Jackson$10.5 million over 7 year deal. Will be very hard to resist if true. Source - Peter Sumich

It’s time to open the Dawe!
-
At least the guys in the twos can’t complain that there’s not enough opportunities this season. Its up to them to stand up if they really want it.
-
Petty has been enormous. im in awe if his efforts , fighting spirit and great courage.
-
Our biggest problem has been and still is connecting with our forwards. The delivery is woeful. 3 times yesterday in a 5 minute period we kicked straight to Cox (twice), and Darcy Moore. This has been a common thread in all 3 of our losses. Long bomb panicked kicks and ignorance of shorter options. At one stage Sparrow had Langdon 30 meters ahead of him , but he chose a long kick to a 3 on one where we were easily out marked.
-
We definitely don’t look as hungry or as intense as last year . For those that say we are just cruising through and will explode in the second half of the year, I really hope so, because the current mindset is not that of a premiership team.
-
Losing three games in a row at the MCG is a worry too. No home ground advantage there.
-
The fumbles today had to be seen to be believed
-
I just hope TMac is back for finals. In the meantime it’s Weeds last chance to prove himself over the next 6 weeks. Backline will be fine once Mays back.
-
The break will do the players good. Langdon not quite at his running best yet, and a week off to recover from that rib injury some more will help. Trac still a bit flat after the flu Niggles to Gawn and Petty Lever rests his foot
-
It was like watching the same match three weeks a row. Getting out marked by taller stronger bodies is killing us , May out, TMac and an injured Gawn today
