After all that preseason running we did???

Out Bennell,Mckenzie.Mcdonald. Bartram,Sellar,Green,Bail, Dunn. In Couch, Nicholson,Blease,Moloney,Davis,Tynan,Tapscott,Morton. also..Sack Royal , bring in Lovett or Viney.

Because our coach doesnt have a clue. Bate was one of our best preseason performers along with Nicholson and Couch, yet none are starting...why??

cant beleive we put Mckenzie in the middle two weeks in a row after zero pre season form. Bate has to start, and now Couch has to play.

I think there is something else going on at the club.....with this Davey/Mifsud thing where theres smoke theres fire...Players do not look committed at all. They look very distracted. We just have Zero leadership....the last leader we had we got rid off too quick, McDonald of course.

Bennell did nothing......career over i reckon, same as Green. Jamar still very ordinary... we really are a disgrace.....Port melbourne would beat us.

Frawley and Garland have ordinary so far this year, lots of turnovers and mistakes

Mitch Clarke aint no star player. I reckon Ricky or Howe would be better at full forward. Watts looks so slow , got good skills but really lacks mongrel,he looks like a basketball player. Umps are terrible.

What i cant understand is the lack of defensive efforts Fair enough we cant really grasp the attacking along the boundary stuff as yet as its completely different to what weve done before. But Neeld said " we would be hard to play against", and there would be "defence all over the ground". But the amount of times Brissie players were on their own was a joke. Our players were left in their wake far too often....zero pressure .

We are just not intimidating enough. I noticed Brissie were getting into us at every opportunity. Watching the Freo Geelong game...Freo did the same to Geelong, they were pushing prodding niggling, absoloutely in the face all nite. We should have been pumped like men of steel after Jimmys passing, but the only one to show any Grunt was Magner. Black had so much space in the middle, and we just werent making him earn it.

This what i find perplexing...our game plan seems way too predictable. Every kick forwrad went to the same pocket all day If i was playing for Brisbane i would of thought, how easy is this to defend.

Its time to change up the centre clearances group. In the future i see it as this....Gawn. Gysberts Magner Viney Once this quartet starts playing regularly we will see some inprovement. Gysberts needs to be in there from now, and maybe Grimes too. Bartram and Macdonald arent good enough in my opinion. Id put Jones in Bartrams role and bring in Morton or Bennell fpr Macdonald Howe needs to be the full forward leading out of the square...he has the smarts . Clarke at CHF

. Compo picks and draft picks mean nothing now...our club will be dead unless we improve in a hurry. We dont have a hope in hell of getting to 40,000 members after that performance by the way.

In Petterd, Tapscott,Gysberts,Sellar,Morton,Bennell Out Mckenzie,Davey,Green,Tynan, Bartram , Mcdonald. The 11 year old is my son by the way....wishes he went with his mum and barracked for Hawthorn, i said he could get a Hawks membership next year if he wanted.

I feel so sorry for my son, who i encoraged to be a Melb. supporter. He is 11 years old and cops crap at school all the time about what losers we are....its unforgiving in he schoolyard. After today he said he doesnt want to go to the footy anymore...heartbreaking..... Damn this club is depressing .

I was dissapointed with Jamar today as well, gave the Brissie mids an armchair ride. Also think its time to remove Jones , Mckenzie and Moloney from there and throw in Gysberts, Tapscott and Grimes. Its not good enough these days just to be hard at it, gotta have some skill.

I think a huge part of our problem is too many similar types. Moloney, jones, Mckenzie,Magner. Not enough runners who can spread quick with a bit of pace

Cant believe Ricky isnt in the side

I saw many past greats there....Flower, Peter Moore, Strawbs o'dwyer, Hopgood,Neita,Cuthbertson,Grinter..really made me feel like part of a big family. Gotta tell you though..im still struggling with Jims death, didnt think it would affect me this much...The guy was a Warrior, a prophet, a hero...definately my inspiration to be a better man. He has affected the whole psyche of Melbourne, Victoria.... the country.
