Cyril and Natanui should not be there , all bells and whistles and no consistent performance or high possesions. Two best forwards ,in Riewoldt and Pavlich who have kicked the most goals for the year not in the forward line???? Jacobs not in the Ruck?? He was clearly the standout ruckman for the year. Mitchell had a far better year than Cyril. It boils down to Bartlett and Healy, they both think Nik Nat is the best player in the comp, and in choosing Rioli, its obvious that the flashy low possesion players are what they are into.

I suppose we are all hoping Jamar comes good,averaging 1 mark a game isn't good enough. Mckenzie is a good tagger , but has to go to the next level now and become more offensive.

After 2 or 3 seasons at the club they still look like skinny kids, i just dont think the hard gym worked was drilled into them in their first 2 years.

Who should take the blame for the failure of two first round picks, Gysberts and Cook? Is it the recruiters or the lack of development at the club?

I have also changed my mind....Nik Nat is a flashy very decent ruckman with ordinary skills,who flys high but doest take many. Jack Watts is a few classes above skills wise, decision making etc etc..

Welling ham, Knights, Pearce,Goddard,Byrnes, Gumbleton and Edwards will do me. Realistically I'd be rapt if we could snare a couple of these, because the young kids we draft with 3 and 4 are gonna be good...and then there's Viney. Free agency and player trades should hopefully get us a decent crop of ready made players next year.......

Im 50/50 on Martin and Spencer...i woudln't be opposed to trade either for a Josh Caddy. I see our Ruck future as Gawn and Fitzpatrick with Jamar as the experienced third option while these two develop. Why? Mainly because Gawn is second in height only to Sandilands and will give us a huge edge in the middle. Fitzpatrick is developing nicely and he can run and knows how to kick a goal.

Caddy is third behind Ablett and Bennell for possessions at the Suns. Experts think he will become a top liner . He will also be more mature and ready made next year...ready to go the next step.

Or....aren't we better off trading pick 4 for Caddy on the proviso they don't nominate Viney. That way we get Toumpas ,Caddy and Viney

I'm thinking we do a back room deal with the Suns , and give them really good value trades for Caddy..pick 13 and a good player Iike Stef Martin.(on the proviso they don't bid for Viney) no one will beat that. This way we will get Toumpas and another goodie like Wines pick 3 and 4 , Viney and Caddy . Free agency will hopefully land us another couple of solid experienced types, and it's a great result.
