Best thing I got out of the game....was that the game plan seems to be gelling. Good pressure on the inside of packs, and good pressure on the opposition reciever. Confidence is growing after only playing two bad quarters in our past 4 games. Intensity and team spirit is up. Would love to cause some damage and gain some respect second half of the year,similar to what Hawtorn did,once their gameplan started to gel under the new coach. Love this club.

I really can't stand this mob.... With what they did to us last year re Scully, and now look like shafting us again , by forcing us to take Viney with a high draft pick. If I was Melbourne president I'd make a phone call to them , just to say, look you really hurt us last year,all we ask is if you could refrain from this viney nomination as a sign of respect, otherwise it's gloves off, and we will stop at nothing to bring pain to you at every opportunity.

The MFC should release a statement after a survey of members. MFC dispels rumours of snow going activities amongst supporters. After surveying its members , the Melbourne football club has found that less than 15% of its members go to the snow on a regular basis. Only 29% had been to the snow at all, in any capacity. It's highly likely that in a year or two...Gawn could be our number one ruck with Martin as support... Whe does that leave Jamar who just signed for 3 years?

Surely a stef Martin would do better at least in the marking around the ground and kicking goals. The problem we are having is poor form from key players, like Jamar, Moloney,Trengove etc.. Others such as Jones, Grimes ,Watts,Howe,Clark are trying their guts out. Why wouldn't you give the out of form blokes a spell in the twos?
