Id be wrapt if get Monfries and Pearce, hope fully one or two others as well,maybe Knights. Experienced players who can use the ball is what we need, mix those with the youth we pick up in the draft, and its an injection of 5 or 6 new guys into the team, who will be wanting to prove themselves. After landing Mitch Clark last year, i have faith in Neelds plans.

you know when ever i talk to my son about all the crap thats been happening to us, Jurrah leaving etc.. we always end up saying...yeah.....but we got Mitch Clark. We can build a team around him.....get us a few quality mids next year and kick it in Mitchs direction ...that is all....

Pearce, Young,Goddard or Knights....if we land a couple of these id be very happy, along with Toumpas Viney and Wines. If 3 out of that 7 make an impact next year we will be vastly improved.

I think that since we missed out on Boak, that we should use picks 3,4,and 13 on the best midfielders available,and hopefully get Viney with our fourth pick. This way surely we have to find a couple of winners out of that lot. Don't worry about trading for next years prospects as we need to fix ASAP

Im not surprised about cook because he has shown no form whatsoever. But Gysberts??? Surely he is ahead of Couch,Magner,Bennell.?? This one will come back to bite us....you dont consistently rack up 25 plus possesions every week, if your no good. Maybe Neeld has firm recruiting plans, for players in exact positions and Boak is already signed. mmmmmmmm? dont know...... ,

i couldnt give a stuff personally as i have grown to have a cold heart as a melbourne supporter, with all the rotten things that have happened to us over the years. I just feel bad for my son, who has had posters of Moloney and Jurrah all over his wall, and before that Scully. I cant bring myself to tell him about Jurrah, as he only took the moloney poster down last night after hearing he was leaving. Has Jurrahs number on his jumper too. A team desperate for stars, young supporters desperate for heroes, but maybe there are no heroes? Maybe the lesson is to not take AFL too seriously as it only brings heartache, especially if you are a melbourne supporter.

The club should be cutting all ties now and not help him out with his legal battles anymore.

I expect to see a lot of Gawn and Fitzpatrick ,and another big preseason from Gysbets,trengove,Blease and Howe,should see more improvement. The key is whether we can get a couple of ready made mature midfielders . Also ready made young guys like Viney,Toumpas, and hopefully caddy,should see a much better 2013
