Last year's drfat crop is far different to this year's though. Last year any of the top 5/6 could've been taken at 1 in a strong draft, this year Lindsay would probably be top 3-5.

The problem is this draft is meant to be a stinker. If it was 7 & 8 last year you'd take it and run but this year? Consensus seems to be it will be extremely difficult to hit on a winner past pick 2 or 3. On a side note this doesn't fill me with much confidence about White either who isn't projected to go in the top 40-50 or so.

7 and 8 last year would've been a good return. 7 and 8 this year doesn't enthuse me at all.

But if those picks helped land them Petracca by on-trading them to us then they do want/need them.

Not when two of them are Jefferson and Tholstrup and two are unknown quantities in a weak draft. Sounds like a platform for destitution.

The actions now aren't a trainwreck. The actions that led us to this situation are a complete and utter trainwreck.

I was basing it on them getting picks from Hawks for Humphrey and then on trading. So if Hawks give them 8 or 9 (whatever it is now) plus extras Suns hold 7, 8 & 9 and pass on two of those to us for Trac. They still have enough points for Academy picks then.

They can send the picks to us for Trac though.
