  1. It probably does depend on whether other games are postponed but it's an idea out there but an unlikely one
  2. I've heard an idea being that the game is being pushed back till near the end of the season, if neither team is in running for finals and no other outbreaks etc then they just scrap the game altogether.
  3. Goodwin still can’t coach. No improvement at all compared to last week. It was like he wasn’t even there!
  4. If they only postpone the game. Come later on in the season, you get a few injuries that aren't major, could you deliberately infect a player so that you get an extra two weeks for your players to recover? An extreme measure but it could be done!
  5. Out: goodwin in: anyone else
  6. We have to sack him but we can’t. We can’t afford to pay him out.
  7. IMO it won't matter what the AFL do to change things. Coaches are so hell bent on trying to keep as much control over the game as they can. Coaches don't care if the game is good to watch, they are paid to win. I think for some of them, winning 1 to 0 would be seen as a big win defensively!. Even last night with about 10 seconds to go and Collingwood had the ball, you could see the first thought was to not give up the ball and not lose the game as opposed to moving it quickly and try to win it. Go back to only one coach, they won't be able to teach the players as well and defensive structures will break down, allowing for more scoring. It won't happen though.
  8. I knew a guy who was really close to Nic Nat and his family, was told at the time that he was only going to stay for the two years and request to go home. He was/is really close to his family.
  9. I also note that Essendon have got lucky, had a similar amount of post season injuries like us last year but they were given 2-3 months which has them all fit and ready to go again. We needed COVID last year!
  10. Was thinking the same. How can they both be playing in dark jumpers with white numbers on the back?
  11. Will be interesting if the league ends up scrapping the fixture and then re-does the 'draw'. With them wanting to then maximise their takings, all the bigger victorian clubs will stay at home and the lessor drawing clubs will be sent interstate. Won't be surprised to see Richmond play almost all 17 games at the G! We will end up playing 8 interstate games... (I've no idea if it is even possible to work it like that for say Richmond and Collingwood but I reckon it will go pretty close)
  12. There is absolutely no doubt that we will be flying and premiership favourites when they cancel the season...
  13. I really can’t see any change to our game. We still can’t kick and have no idea how to go inside 50.
  14. Age replied to 640MD's topic in Melbourne Demons
Funnily enough I have had the same done by my mother in law with our scarves. We get 4 every year and have quite the blanket collection now!
  15. Before it get's taken as lore, I was being facetious with my comment as every injury we had this year seemed to be 4 to 6 and then they almost never played again.
  16. Just found out he is apparently 4 to 6 weeks away...
  17. I think that game coincides with the olympics so it will probably not be on the main channel
  18. Anyone who thinks this season was a bust will be silenced by this one!!
  19. Our skills coach this year, thankfully he has moved on...
  20. Biggest positive for me this year was that the Richmond station was a lot quieter towards the end of the season. Didn’t have to wait to get a train.
  21. That Kelly trade by Roos is looking better by the day!!!
  22. Coming back from a horrible injury is right up our alley. Will probably offer pick 2 for him
  23. Get him back. One can dream he can be like croad at the hawks and come back with a flag!
  24. I’ve said for a while now that I believe we have become just a feeder team for the bigger clubs. It just feels like the afl is becoming the epl more and more. Afl don’t really care either, bigger club’s success means more money for them. We are not a big club
