I thought he waned a little towards the end of the season. At the start he was taking the game on more, looking for goal, and pressuring hard. The last few rounds I thought he lacked confidence and was too worried about missing the goal and letting his teammates down. Besides that though he gave us exactly what we needed. Could have easily kicked 60+ goals had he kicked straight.

We won't re-sign Hogan until well after the 2016 season. It would be silly for him to sign on now when he could easily improve his worth with an even stronger season. It's a risk for him but this is all talk atm. They're opening discussions and that's it.

What's the point apart from dumping his contract on another team? I'd have thought it would be better to keep him and then when his contract is up, let him walk. At least we get service out of him whereas trading him will get is a pick in the 40s-50s range which won't benefit us much now. Pederson is a better option on half the coin. Dawes' salary makes him untradeable unless he's going to a team in a rebuild focus specifically looking to top up its cap and then have room once his contract is up. We just won't get something in return that is worth it even in light of his massive contract.

In his defense he explicitly says he made bad choices. He said Eagles officials, many of whom are still in positions of power at the club and league, haven't been held to account for how they dealt with the drug issue at the club: they swept it under the rug, actively tried to hide it, and actually helped the players score drugs. He's not blaming anyone for his issues. He's saying that while others have been punished for taking drugs, those who were in a position to address it and fix it actually helped along the drug taking. By his accusations, some Eagles officials acted as drug dealers.

Very irresponsible and grubby of the HS to release this now. Would never have happened under Sheahan's watch. This week is about football and why we love it so much. The HS has been an important pillar in that love for the game (whether you like the HS or not), and this does nothing but tarnish the week. At least wait until after the GF.
