  1. I have no issues trading out Tyson, and think it would likely suit all parties. Carlton, Essendon & Hawthorn would all be potential suitors IMO. More concerned about Vandenberg potentially leaving. In fact if Vandenberg were to leave along with Tyson, I hope the club considers taking a punt on Nathan Freeman as a DFA so we have a mature bodied mid ready to go with some potential upside.
  2. For the record, I still think Vanders will stay on a 2 year deal for slightly less money with some type of arrangement being met allowing himan extra day off a week or fortnight for his business. Club clearly don't want to loose him. Gut feel only. I have no inside knowledge as to what's happening.
  3. Two things. 1. May isn't Cam McCarthy, he wont sit out a year. 2. The AFL will ensure the club they put millions into will get priority 1 compensation for May if he leaves, whether he were to miss most of the year or not.
  4. Yes. Works like Father/Son bidding.
  5. Because as mentioned elsewhere, why would Gold Coast trade him now for that potential price, when they could hold onto him for 12 months, let him walk as a free abent and end up with another top 4 pick. It's a nice thought, but no chance Gold Coast would go for it. Plenty of players meet with other clubs and then stay where they are. Dustin Martin, Ling Jong. And Melbourne are confident Aaron Vandenberg will do the same.
  6. I get where you're going. If one of the two 1st Rounders we get from Freo in a 2019 pick, then we'll have 2 picks that year to potentially trade for Kelly.
  7. That's more then fair, and why you would need to look at the trade as a whole. If the trade ends up reading; IN: May, KK, Lockhart OUT: Garlett, Pick 6, Future 3rd Rounder (potentially pick 50'ish) It looks a pretty fair exchange to me as a whole.
  8. Chris Yarran, Gary Rohan, Reece Conca, Caleb Marchbank, Sam Petrevski-Seton. One of those superstars? We're in Premiership window territory now. I'm more concerned about what improves us immediately as opposed to in 5 years. Don't forget, in order to get May this year, it needs to be a trade that entices Gold Coast to trade him now as opposed to holding onto him for 12 months. Pick 10 wont be enough for May.
  9. Still think we'll end up with Pick 6 & a future first rounder. Pick 6 along with Garlett & future 3rd round pick gets us May, KK and rights to a VFL player (Lockhart). Gives us 2 first rounders the following year to either offer up for trade for Kelly or take to the draft.
  10. My sources say otherwise. Plus when you consider the fact they have Marshall, Battle, McCartin all young key forwards (two of whom have shown an ability to ruck) I'd find it hard to believe they're into Max King. His brother would be more likely I would think.
  11. Have it on good authority that the Saints are all over him. Wont be coming to MFC.
  12. Which is why we'll trade the earliest of the two picks we get from Freo. Otherwise there's no benefit in it for them trading May this year. I reckon it'll be Pick 5, future 3rd Rounder & Garlett for May, KK and VFL player (Lockhart).
  13. New 1 year deal. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2018-09-28/dee-kennedy-harris-earns-new-deal-after-strong-end-to-year
  14. Pick 5 or 6, Garlett & future 3rd Round Pick for May, KK & rights to a VFL player (Lockhart please).
  15. Declan Keilty came in 4th & James Munro rounded out the top 5. Couple of noticeable absentees last night from players who spent a lot of time at Casey this year were Tom Bugg, JKH & Jeff Garlett. They likely had good reason having said that.
  16. Ummm the MFC. I would have thought that bits pretty obvious given the forum we're all on. If I had of posted this on a single mothers forum then I could understand clarification being required.
  17. Corey Wagner this evening has taken out the Casey B&F with Jay Lockhart runner up and Cameron Pedersen in 3rd place. More to follow.....
  18. Tim Smith has also been offered and accepted a 3rd year on the rookie list.
  19. Declan Keilty has been offered. And accepted. A 3rd year on the rookie list.
  20. Big Footy. I know, I know......
  21. Yes, but unlike North, we don't have the coin to blow West Coast out of the water re matching. Only chance we have to get Gaff is by trade.
  22. We've allegedly asked for permission to trade our 2019 first round pick. Means we must have something big lined up (could still be Gaff).
  23. Officially on the market. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2018-09-26/lions-utility-open-to-exploring-other-options
  24. Melbourne: Kent to Saints & Pick 48 to North St Kilda: Lonie to North & Pick 57 to Melbourne North Melbourne: Preuss to Melbourne & Pick 64 to St Kilda Melbourne gain Preuss & 57 for Kent & 48 St Kilda gain Kent & 64 for Lonie & 57 North Melbourne gain Lonie & 48 for Preuss & 64
