So why would you throw out months of planning and consistency of approach to bring in a player that is yet to play one game against a real opponent in more than 18 months? What are you smoking?

Brayshaw trained the whole time. Just no contact or kicking I believe...

show pony of the highest order. I truly hope that our improvement means we no longer have to deal with the worst umpires.

We didn't learn a thing from the St Kilda game.

Face up to it guys. He got it right. You look silly criticising him

I'm sure Jay Clark will acecpt your apologies anytime soon......

That's what leadership is. We have been devoid of it for a long time. We now have a solid line up of leaders and potential leaders.

That's simply not true. Adelaide were reeling from the Steven Trigg salary cap scandal and had lost draft picks. They had to trade to get picks and Bernie had value and was older. He wasn't de-listed as far as I am aware and they need to get some youth into the side.

golakicking is also related to the pressure on the ball kicker, the speed of entry into the fwd 50 and where the shots are being taken from. The good teams have less pressure generally and shoot from closer to goal. That can change quite quickly for us if we get the ball in quicker.

No more excuses, The players are responsible for preparing professionally..

Jon Ralph tweeted that he can't believe the media is giving Dank airtime and repeating his denials that the Bummers were given anything illegal. I tweeted that he could help by stopping the HSun from continuing to [censored] the line that the players were not responsible and had done nothing wrong. Unbelieveable they would continue to write this stuff...

So was the All Australian side. Remember when Yze couldn't get in the side and the commentary was that he had to do it (the high performance level) for a number of years to be recoginised? Including Franklin in the top 10 is a joke. And the Rising Star is now based on the best 1st year performance. This is totally different to its original incarnation when it was the player most likely to become a star. It is now almost impossible to win the award if you are nominated after round 9. It remains a joke IMO.

It never quite turns out that way though because teams always under or over perform. Based on last years team performances it might be hard but who knows how this year will pan out. I reckon we have a chance at 13 wins if things go really well. What's wrong with him winning 3 flags?

What else would you expect from the Guardian? Garbage journalism usually.

Andy D claims he wasn't told it was the EFC. Anyone around the AFL knew because they had Dank. Gerard Healy had told the AFL Dank was giving them peptides so AD clearly went to Evans and said ' you had better fess up'. Hird was to be the fall guy and Tarnia wasn't happy.

AFL footy mate micro figures. Minus the demons

What has stood out for me in the NAB challenge is the tackling. It is smarter, harder and relentless. Very few dumb frees. Waiting a split second before committing, coralling the opposition. This pressure will hold us in good stead. Its been missing for a long time and shows great signs of selfless team play.
