Lisfranc is the one that horse-riding soldiers used to get when their foot got caught in horse stirrups... A historical fact for you all
-
If that's true - and I don't doubt you - it is an appalling piece of list management. I know there is a new CBA in the offing that may be holding some agreements back but seriously that is negligent of the club.

I wish.....

He's not like most 31 yo's in the sense he has only played around 63 games...
-
I have heard he owns a house overthere (nudge nudge)

2 x 10 goal wins will make life easier If we are in hard scraps it wil take its toll

I find Jayden runs as far as he can and then kicks. He doesn't typically run say 5m and pass it off, he'll run 10-20m depending on how much pressure is being applied to him and how much space is ahead of him. Consequently many of his kicks are under some kind of pressure as he waits till the last second to dish it off.

And while I am at it Taylor Adams made some horrible blues throughout the match. Fittingly it was he that was chasing Watts and was out on his legs. Karma.

maybe 'pace up and down' like a caged animal?

You should really see someone about your mental wellbeing....

Geelong are a protected species. But like Hawthorn their dominance will come to an end. Probably much quicker than Hawthorn because they rely on 2 players so much. Take out Dangerwood and they really are a very ordinary side. With an even more ordinary coach.

Hunt had never played any TAC Cup footy and was pretty small. Hence he wasn't on most clubs' radar. He really only came into contention because Robert Shaw mentioned him to Jason Taylor who had gone to Brighton Grammar to see Kelly and Salem. Hunt also grew five-inches in Year 11 and thus became a decent prospect with his pace and hardness.

I am tipping....I know this is a big call but.....I am tipping they won't want Vince... Just sayin...

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MICHAEL HIBBERD
jnrmac replied to KC from Casey's topic in Melbourne Demons
Champion Data provide an easy-to-digest tackle count for every match. Prowess Sports split them up into Tackle Attempts and Effective Tackles. The clubs, on the other hand, often break them down even further, preferring to have dedicated statisticians keeping an eye on held tackles, broken tackles, missed tackles and the like. The most common myth about tackling is that if you have more tackles than the opposition then you’ve probably been chasing backsides all day. Not so, particularly when you look at the fact that almost 60% of teams that have won the tackle count in 2016 actually won the game. Pressure acts are just as important and Hibberd is first class in this area. But when it is all said and done he gets the ball and is a magnificent kick - something we havent had as a defender for many years. Recruit of the year. -
Just watched the replay again. The Pies got an unbelievable run in the 2nd qtr with frees. They shouldn't be squealing as they got goals from the errors. Also, Callum Brown twice threw his head back before he even got tackled. He got one free but it was very poor form from a first gamer. Will end up like Mathieson from Brisbane or Lindsay Thomas

Here's a damn good one.....

It was 23 to 2 at half time. Simply astounding. And the AFL and umpires dept had no truck with it either.
-
Actually this is pretty funny. They clearly don't know the rules. There is no such rule as 'dropping the ball'. You only need to start you run up before the shot clock reaches 0. You can't ride someone's back into the ground as Aish did. They don't understanmd prior opportunity. Would love to do a rebuttal of that but CGAF.

We have 3 x 6 day breaks in a row coming up with a game at Etihad, Domain Stadium in Perth and back at the G. How they manage the players through this tough stretch will largely determine our season you would think.

This is a pretty good love-in but there were two howlers that could have changed things dramatically. The first was our first goal and the pathetic handball from TMac to Viney. That could have been one of the biggest stuff ups of all time. The second was the 50m penalty in the ast quarter when Bugg tapped the ball from Greenwood's hands. Luckily Greenwood missed the shot but that stupid act could have easily cost us the game.
-
Gee thats a good idea seeing as we have him on a 3 year deal. No idea,
-
It won't be long before Collingwood are begging for us to let then play us on QB because they need the exposure and cash flow......
-
Good second half. Abominable first half. One swallow does not a summer make...
-
LOL Thanks Mrs McDonald. You need a voucher for Specsavers.

Anyone else notice how awkward Watts looked when he bounced the ball? My heart was in my mouth....
