WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MICHAEL HIBBERD
jnrmac replied to KC from Casey's topic in Melbourne Demons
Not much love for this guy that played his 100th game today. Another great game and really put his body on the line in the last qtr (as did Oscar and Lewis). The recruit of the year for mine and probably top 2 in the Bluey (altho he missed the first 4 games). I love having him at the Demons and he is one of the few players that i feel calm when the ball is in his hands. Very glad he chose the Demons. -

prior to today our form has been pretty terrible without him

Good luck 15.5 FREE KICKS – RELATING TO RUCKS Each Team must have no more than one Ruck to contest any bounce, throw up or boundary throw in. A field Umpire shall award a Free Kick against a Player where the Player: (a) who is not a designated Ruck contests a throw up or boundary throw in; (b) unduly pushes, bumps, holds or blocks an opposition Player who is the Ruck contesting a bounce or throw up by a field Umpire or throw in by a boundary Umpire; or (c) who is contesting the football as the Ruck at any bounce, throw up or boundary throw in makes contact with the opposition Ruck prior to the football leaving the field or boundary Umpire’s hand.

The frees were unfathomable and are so inconsistently applied its a complete joke, 15.5 FREE KICKS – RELATING TO RUCKS Each Team must have no more than one Ruck to contest any bounce, throw up or boundary throw in. No i don't think so because it was Billings that took the free. I think it was paid for front on contact to Billings. Appalling decision in any case.
-
Against North it was 8-0 against in the final quarter. We lost the game by 4pts.

So proud...:)

Well Its a smart idea. They ran out of [censored] pies at half time today, unbelieveable. On a more serious note how did he get the knife inpast the security??
-
Saw that. Clarrie gave Max a double handed push to the chest and told him (most likley) to get his act together. Amazing for a young player!

Was molested all day. Having said that we looked better when Pedo was in the ruck

Lucky he's with AAMI...

The article is reasonable. Jack has played 150 games and should be a stalwart of the club and the fwd line. That he has been dropped yet again to find his 'mojo' is a poor reflection in him.
-
Its our fwd line that has been disfunctional, hence the changes. All the stoppages, i50s, CPs, pressure stats and tackles etc have been good.
-
Food for thought We have scored 15 goals or more eight times in the first 14 rounds but not once in the last 6 games. The league-wide average for scores per inside 50 sits at 47%. Against GWS we had 55 entries (more than the Giants) but scored from just 12. Of the 171 games played this year no team has been as inefficient once inside forward 50 as Melbourne was on Saturday in Canberra.
-
Maybe it relieved a little bit of the circus surrounding Jack.
-
I heard Goodwin state specifically that Jack was dropped for form. Take that as gospel.
-
So he was dropped in the pre-season, was dropped for the last game of the 2015 season and has played woefully since returning from his hamstring injury. I would suggest that Jack knows exactly what he has to do, the club is fully aware of his injuries (if any), fully aware of his pressure acts, km's run etc. Your comments are ridiculously emotional claptrap. If he is carrying multiple injuries he shouldn't be playing so what's your point?
