We are forgetting Tim Smith. Hasn't showed a lot yet but could be a versatile fwd for us.

I don't believe that is right at all. He was injured a lot - that might explain his lack of games.

I think we are all salivating waiting for the breakout to happen. Talent to burn, good attitude. Will get there.

Sneaky suspicion he will get picked up by Sydney. On the small ground his pace won't be an issue and he would come cheap - an issue for Sydney with Buddy and Tippett. His footy smarts and strong marking would be ideal for the Swans.

This is telling. Ideally you want him as a distributor of half back. But he's not that quick, not great one on one and is still learning how to defend. His early years he was often caught out on the wrong side of his opponent. I'm really torn with him. We are seduced because we have such poor users of the ball and this is his great strength.....

Look this is where the frustration is. His best is elite. We just don't see it often enough. It is compounded by the fact he looks like a lazy arse most of the time ambling around the field laying limp tackles. This belies the fact his GPS stats would often be off the charts. He can and does does run repeat sprints when he is 'on' but then his tackling is not great. He is a conundrum wrapped up in a riddle wrapped up in an enigma....

SO the narrative is..... we had pick 2 and could have taken Kelly... But we traded for Salem and Tyson.... And now we are going to pay $10m to get Kelly...... Nah....

A 1 yr contract should get Vince to 100 MFC games barring injury. We'll have the best looking father sons going around.....

Not sure ROE is the best way to measure progress at a footy club! Re the leg weghts, I maintain that Aaron Davey lost a good deal of pace when he bulked up his legs. Was never as fast as he was in his first rookie year.

Will always remembers Spencil's 3 goals against Geelong at the Cattery when we won the game. It was his best game by far.

I don't define the stats. If we have the ball and it ends up in the other teams hands its a TO. Its not rocket science

Well picked up. That was a good game.

Love Jonesy. We missed him when he was injured. Needs to step back a little and let the younger ones take the heat. Feel that when the heat is off he will become an even more important player as he reads the ball so well. His disposal will likely improve with the time he then has to dispose of the ball. All that said, doesn't really have the leadership qualities that allows him to drag/will the players across the line like Viney does. There was one particular game where he did that (GC I think) but if there is a knowck I reckon its this. Not for lack of endeavour or trying mind you. Warrior.

You don't have to wonder.....

I don't believe we had one game where we won all four quarters. That is a better indicator for me. And beside from our cobbled together forward line most of the year it doesn't help when you have 2 on 6 at centre bounces.

Stretch turned 21 on Saturday. Has time on his side and should make it.
