Weid is a decoy

Canned crowd noise now?
-
Our pressure is causing their defence huge headaches

Keep it up dees

How many throws???

Given no crowds this makes no sense at all given both teams have been tested twice this week.....

Our 2 finals wins in 2018 were decent statements as was our defeat of Richmond on Anzac Eve. Just sayin...

Yeah a week on from the Adelaide game I'd like to think the loss has blown away any semblence of laziness and all 22 will be primed for 100% effort. If we give that I'll be happy regardless of the result.

Who can ever forget having to beat 13th placed Collingwood to make finals for the first time in 11 years and we didn't even lay a tackle in the first 20 minutes. There's no coincidence. Personally I'd keep Goodwin away from them pre-match. They're half asleep by the time they hit the ground. Takes them a quarter or so to wake up after being put to sleep. I'd have Williams fire them up

Maybe the team is doing well because the bottom 6 players have improved.......

Umps got it wrong - need a please explain

This is not so simple either. People would argue Spargo touched it and it was a Crow free. What do you do then? Go to the video review? Not practical at all. The game would go for 7 hours. And a similar issue would arise about who touched it last.... -

Simon Lethlean from the AFL when they cracked down on deliberate in 2017 said all players must have endeavour to keep the ball in play. “It is really a genuine intent to keep the ball in. Players must make every endeavour to keeping the ball in and if they haven’t they are likely to get a free kick paid against them. The free should have been paid against the Crow player not Lever -
Seriously, what do you care? There may be 100 reasons why they don't want others to know about a players injury. Let them do their job.

Thats it I believe in Champion data stats there are only 3 ways to score, from a stoppage/clearance, from a turnover or a kick in.

What about the Keays holding the ball decision? That's the one that cost us the game Maggots- 362 replies

The side above has Brayden Pruess in it. So it cant have been the preseason game..

We might as well play Weid and find out for once and for all if he can play. He has had more chances than most and after 5 years in the system he looks a bust. No matter how much we want him to be a success. Has all the attributes but just can't get enough of the footy. If he fails againtst the Dogs we should go with BB who is a proven forward - for the rest of the year.
-
He has played most of his junior years as a midfielder/forward. Its common for talented juniors to come in and have to learn defence. I think they see Bowey in the Caleb Daniel mould given his laser kicking. But he could certainly go forward.

2 out of the last 3 weeks adelaide have failed to kick 40 points. We let them kick 52 points in the first half.

Perhaps you should open your eyes. 2 of the last 3 games Fritsch has had zero tackles and 9 or less possessions. He's lazy, insipid and provides zero fwd pressure. To top it off he played selfish footy last night and missed a great opportunity to give Petracca a goal instead trying to dribble the ball through. His kicking for goal has been pathetic and ;ast night he didn't make the distance from about 40m out. He can take a break as far as I am concerned.
