GAMEDAY: Rd 18 vs Port Adelaide
We never seem to have any fwds on the goal line. Infuriating instead we keep them around the 50m mark to try and keep the ball in the f50 This is barely watchable.

He needs to be reeducated. Its pathetic selfish behaviour And pull his finger out. Our most annoying player in the last month

We need to wear our normal jumper this week
Haven't we only won once wearing it? That should be enough to consign it to history

Steven May's Kicking ??
So it would seem that its not just May or Salem's kicking - its the whole team. Over the past 5 weeks we are 18th in the CData Kick ratings EG Oliver and Petracca have had 46 kicks i50 and only TWO have been marked. Holy cow that is bad.

Dont disagree. I was just rebutting the post saying "Hunt is not a forward"

Our kick out strategy
Good explanation Geelong were instructed to smash the ball in contests to stop Max or Jacko marking AND to keep the ball away from our ground level players. If you watch the contests closely you can see the Geelong players further away at the contest. If they didnt win the ball the tackled our guys fiercely. Then they utilised the switch or the corridor successfully. We looked slow in countering Fast movement into our defensive zone counters our ability to set up the defensive zone. All in all well played to Scott but I suspect we have now seen their cards and expect we will be able to counter in the next match.

Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
Its highly likely Gus has some kind of arrangement that will give the club flexibility in dealing with the Dogga situation while not disadvantaging himself..

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Geelong
We shouldnt be allowing a spare man in their fwd 50. That is an error right there. Not sure we do that usually. In our fwd 50 no problem because our spare out the back acts as a goalkeeper.

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Geelong
I don't like Scott but he has reason to be chuffed. He has re-engineered his side to beat us. Kudos. But with 8m to go Kozzie kicks for goal and hits the post. We are 5pts down. Dont get too excited. Plus he has shown his hand quite early and we know finals aren't won in July

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Geelong
Their talls really smashed the ball fwd and we were right at the foot of the pack most of the night No marks to max and Jackson was nowhere to be seen Coaches should have picked up on that. We are so so so predictable

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Geelong
There's a big problem when players like Fritsch keep burning team mates like he did again last night. Players then get selfish, or they stop running to space (either to clear the fwd line or create a loose man) because they think what's the point. It becomes a cancer in a team. Fritsch isn't the only one to do it (Brown and Tracc have a well) but we need to crack down hard on it because they way we score goals is sharing it around. And when that stops scores dry up. Slow movement kills us as well. JJ is a real momentum killer in this regard nearly always stopping and slowing down the play.

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Geelong
Hawkins and Cameron didn't tear us apart. It was their mids and smalls that killed us. We were woeful in picking up Duncan, Guthrie etc when they went forward. We were stuck on the flanks and they played through the middle Goodwin was outcoached last night. Should have screamed: 1. Take the first option 2. defend the corridor side of the contests 3. Dont let the Cats chip kick fwd 4. They are switching every second play FFS dont let them
