TEAMS: Rd 08 vs St. Kilda
The problem for you is that you have no idea what TMac was told to work on or what he was expected to do. You are making guesses based on stats. The footy dept looks well beyond that.

Premiership Coach Simon Goodwin extends until 2024
Interesting to talk about the Demon spirit, taking less money than otherwise could be got and wanting to keep the team and staff together working towards the ultimate goal. Great message for everyone but particularly Jackson and Brayshaw, currently out of contract!

Christian Salem - Straight back to the backline or something different?
Distributing the ball from the back half is a key to our success Bowey was recruited to add to Salem's ball use

Tom McDonald 200th game this week?
Very under-appreciated for his pack busting, gut-running and swing man capabilities. So much of his work goes unnoticed by many on here. But he takes a gorilla backman each week and plays a vital role for us. Outstanding story of perseverance and not throwing the toys out of the pram when he was told to look elsewhere. Instead knuckling down and working on deficiencies in his game. Thoroughly deserves his 200 games and his premiership. Congratulations Tom.

POSTGAME: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
My thoughts after watching the replay.. Outstanding effort by our guys to win. The system and confidence they have in each other is a joy to watch. They never seem to panic. Umpiring was atrocious even though we got the better of the count The 3 marks to May that were not paid were outrageous and cost us goals. They tried to drag May up the ground at all costs and leave Smith one out. JJ was very fumbly Bedford did very well. Our kicking to the fwd line was abysmal. So many times we kicked to a pack or directly to a Hawk player. The defence was uncharacteristically out of sorts. Lever was very fumbly as well. Missed Petty big time. Hunt played well and made some great spoils Langdon being tagged was unusual and was quite a successful tactic by Mitchell Tom Mitchell got some very soft frees. Frost is a liability Hawthorn were very aggressive all day trying to niggle us and their supporters are tireless bores. Hawks played well off a short break and were running hard at the end. I suspect more of our team was not feeling well than reported. Max is a gun. Oliver needs more protection from the umps. You can't have a player at stoppages not facing the stoppage and instead trying to impede Oliver. Pathetic umpiring

TEAMS: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
They look particularly inexperienced in the mid area. Lynch newcomb worpel Omeara hasn't been playing v well. Mitchell not that damaging and Shiels is back from being dropped Their fwds have been playing quite well and their defence is ok if not a little flaky with frost Dees by 30

How the Rift between Woewodin & the Dees was Healed
There was a new broadcast deal in the wings, Freo was hovering, Farmer was offered big money and we had recently played off in a granny. Mistakes were made and if anything it shows how good our list management is now compared to then

How the Rift between Woewodin & the Dees was Healed
A lot of truth in here. And a fair bit of revisionism in this thread.
