  2. You would have to think this is already happening
  3. ALL players need to play team first or the magic stops No exceptions. Fritsch is not exempt and is a repeat offender
  4. Here we go. Rule of the week. It will be forgotten in 3 weeks.
  5. You contradicted yourself. If he was out of bounds when he kicked it he clearly ran the ball over the boundary line. Watch it again. He had ample opportunity to dispose of the ball or keep the ball in play and didn't (because we had a spare man down the line). That is textbook insufficient attempt
  6. A thought I had on the Melksham chase down the wing early in the 4th qtr.... Why wasn't Tom Clurey pinged for insufficient attempt? He ran 40m, had ample opportunity to dispose of the ball and then ran out of bounds. Ball in.

Really ? It must be good to be perfect
  8. Kozzie is a team player. His running and pressure are first rate. The goals weren't coming for him until yesterday The club knows through its GPS numbers who is doing the team things and Kozzie is among the best. I am not sure you can say the same abut Fritsch. I think Fritsch picks and chooses IMO but I am sure the coaches know and will be pressuring him to be more selfless. His goal output earlier this year was below his best and maybe that pressure to kick goals has led to some of these moments.
  9. We're the reigning premiers not a 2 win basket case The MFCSS is strong here....
  10. We try to defend leads. It will cost us one day either with a loss or failed percentage boost.
  11. This. We have no idea. Often players are given specific roles. I haven't watched the game again but it seemed to me he was trying to keep Alir honest so he wasn't alone as the goalkeeper? So perhaps it was a defensive fwd role which he has done before.
  12. Like Geelong the Dogs would have studied us relentlessly They will try something different and look a different side with Bruce in
  13. Melksham showed that when he centred the ball to Brown rather than blaze away from the pocket
  14. Its not ridiculous. He has been burning team mates for some time now and its a cancer within a team that prides itself on selflessness. Its why Gus goes back to help put the defence, why Spargo runs 100m to open up the fwd line, why ANB makes repeat efforts to keep a ball in the fwd pockets. He is a bighead and it needs deflating. Our success relies on a team game.
  15. I saw that it was 24 deg. The commentary said that it was hot and humid. Regardless - and the point of the post - we are playing one of the best clearance teams in the comp off a 6 break. Our clearances have sucked the last 2 games
  16. We have lost clearances in the last 2 games by 13 and 18 We are playing one of the best clearance teams on the competition this week off a 6 day break in hot conditions. Hopefully Oliver will be back but we are like the little boy with his finger in the dyke at the moment. Lots of holes being plugged Need to lift in the middle big time
  17. There was a graphic on Fox Footy. I suspect its a paid Champion Data stat
  18. Some stats Hitouts to advantage Us 7 PA 9 Scores fm stoppage Us 25 PA 45 Game Pressure 175 to 145 PA (prob to be expected in the heat but geez that was low for us)
  19. Kozzie clinic Viney was great The rest are so out of form its frightening
  20. How many times do we kick into the man on the mar k farrrrrrrr out
  21. The Koz Wow
  22. Stoppage clearances 22 to 11 at 3/4 time Need to lift
  23. We never seem to have any fwds on the goal line. Infuriating instead we keep them around the 50m mark to try and keep the ball in the f50 This is barely watchable.
  24. Zero desperation
