Smith lacks footy nous. his athleticism is great but Charlie Cameron showed him up big time.

2021 Player Reviews: #13 Clayton Oliver
To think if we had have taken Wines instead of Toumpas we may not have ended up with Clarry or trac We would have had two great players in Viney and Wines but quite similar in many ways.

Throwing away the whistle on GF day.
You are allowed to use your hands to hold your position - you can't push. BBs was textbook. The Dog player was backing into him. JJ is allowed to have his hands in the back to take that mark. Had he not taken the mark it would have been a free,This rule interpretation has been in place for a long time and encourages 'high marking' - a hallmark of our great game. Think last year when Weightman used his hands to climb Max like a stepladder - because he took the mark it was fine.

Farewell Luke Jackson
You clearly missed the irony and the laughing emoji. I was referring to LJ beating Max who Champion data don't regard as elite...

Why Luke Dunstan came to Melbourne
Basically said Ratten had marked his card. Stress of trying to change that perception wore him down.

Why Luke Dunstan came to Melbourne
I see the attraction of Joel Smith with his athleticism & flexibility but his weaknesses were on display against Brisbane with under-developed footy nous. Too often allowed his opponent to get goalside, and flew at the ball without impacting on a few occasions. Compare that to say Bowey who has lesser physical attributes but much better footy nous.

Gus wins at Golf
Not sure. Probably. Good sporting pedigree, Uncle is Andy Moir who played for the Dees, his grandfather ran at the olymics and his Mum is a sports teacher.

Gus wins at Golf
Hunt is the best golfer (around 3/4 hcp) , I have played with him and he hits it a mile. Used the Qld hub at twin waters to full effect and Joondalup!

When does the footy start again?

Training Ground?
Dan Andrews had 220 elm trees cut down in ST Kilda Road to build his new train station. Not a peep from the hypocrite greenies or inner city activists. Pretty sure there would be total outrage if a different flavoured government was in power....

Most Clangers ever in a Season
Irrelevant for Trac and Clayton. Their possies are under tremendous pressure. Clangers in the back line are the worst kind of problem. Think Frost....

Dees Primed for Repeated Glory
People forget that 2016 was the first year of the bye before the finals. The dogs were battered but got a rest while the teams in the top 2 were beaten from memory.

Dees Primed for Repeated Glory
None of our premiership players have retired or moved. Im told it hasnt happened before but find it hard to believe

Dees Primed for Repeated Glory
Someone told me Melbourne is the first side to go into the next season with every premiership player still available Anyone know if this is right?
