  1. Sounds like you are a false-flag left winger trying to discredit right wingers. Keep up the good work.
  2. yeah, and to make it even tougher, why not a spot of eye-gouging, or since that is contact above the shoulders, how about twisting the oppo's balls. .
  3. When an oppo player does something dubious (eg. TB and his boot, Dangerfield and his 'ruck' contest), it's always useful to think what your reaction would be if a Melbourne player did it. In the TB case, the answer is easy - embarrassed.
  4. If the AFL doesn't instruct the umpires to penalise it, then some day a player who has a boot coming towards his face will grab the boot and upend TB slamming his head into the deck. He'll probably be pinged for a trip, or is it a dangerous tackle, but I expect TB won't be doing it again.
  5. How is a foot different than an arm? Perhaps it's because players don't wear studs on their arms.
  6. Don't worry. Now that he has to play C'wood, Eddie everywhere will have a word to Gil and this dangerous tactic will be banned.
  7. You never know when the umpires insist on having called play-on before the oppo can enter the 'zone' even when it is obvious the player has played on. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. I wonder what the rule is.....
  8. Many GWS supporters there?
  9. It's partly the camera angle on TV. Main camera is too low.
  10. Only one slight criticism of Weed's game. When he took that mark in the goal square with under 6 mins to go he shouldn't have played on. He had a chance to waste 30 seconds which just may have been needed if the cats got a run on from their 2 quick goals afterwards. Unlikely but not impossible.
  11. Do I really have to barrack for C'wood....... uuggghh.?
  12. Blame the coach. It's hard to tell the players to just carry on, stop appealing for frees and whinging when they know you are doing just that in the coaches box.
  13. It was clear that he decided during the half time break to rough us up. Early in Q3 he was tackled by a Melb player (cant recall who) in a regulation no-damage tackle and Selwood went for him afterwards out of all proportion. Good to see he carried on with that...
  14. Any sign of video of the match?
  15. Given that flogging, I presume no one in that Geelong team will be promoted to the seniors next week . So at least we won't have to put up with BT orgasmically saying "Narkle" on Friday.
  16. Can only agree with what everyone has said. Thanks BV.
  17. Sorry, I'd like to believe that but Moonie just stated the reported facts. While he may or may not be an opponent of the LNP or just an independent observer, it was you who made it a partisan issue.
  18. umm, I think the issue is possible corrupt behaviour, not on whose 'side' the money originates. It doesn't excuse anyone to say 'but the other guy does it too'.

Were the 'issues' with the coaches or the players in your view? Coaches unapproachable or players very naughty boys? Whatever, the proof is in the pudding and the pudding at the moment looks very tasty. So even if it was an issue, it is a non-issue now as DA stated.
  20. you forgot points for being blonde, but I suspect the big end of town is the trump card with 'upright' politicians.
  21. The perk of being related to the AFL boss. What an oh-pair: http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-08-28/dutton-released-au-pair-after-lobbying-from-afl-boss-mclachlan/10172788
  22. Sounds like a good idea.
  23. Thank god I left.
  24. I was thinking only doing it for set shots. Agree it would be silly all over the ground - the ump would be in the way.
  25. I'm not sure if I'm in favour of marking the spot or not, but it would take no time for the ump when indicating the spot to also spray a dot. No need for a line.
