Clarry was a great player, though his best was from a couple of years ago as with Trac. Will he get back to his best? Well he has a better shot at it at the Giants than if he were to remain at the Dees. With a new coach coming in and clearly setting new standards and expectations, Oliver clearly wasn’t willing to commit to those. No one individual is bigger than the club. And the way he has handled himself this past week, he has shown to be terribly immature and one who would pose problems when trying to establish a better culture and healthier environment. Sad that it got to this situation, with all parties at fault in some sort of way.

If it’s just picks coming back out way, I see no need to give them one back. maybe we throw one back their way if they include BH.

The top end talent is not near the quality nor depth of last years draft. Langford would go close to #1 in this years draft and XL would be in the top 3-5. Generally when Vic Country and Metro provide strong squads, the draft is deeper. Neither were strong this year.

A great question. He is clearly no longer the ideal person to be list manager. Move him on before he does even further damage and our stay at the bottom of the ladder is longer than necessary. We’ll end up like WCE if he stays on.

It’s become untenable for Trac staying at the MFC. If he were, he’d only put in half hearted efforts. My preference of course would be for a good quality player to be involved in the trade, but if picks is the only offer we get so be it. I would only accept picks 6 & 7 for Trac and maybe a second rounder though (not 6 & 20-something). Sure the draft is not as deep or good this year, but good players always come out of poor drafts, JT will just need to nail them. Trac, Clarry and May all going realistically means that we must rebuild. 2 top picks will help fast track that rebuild if we get them right. What’s to say that Trac will ever get back to the player he once was? Will we nail these picks? Unknowns atm, just got to back our club in im afraid, as we are all simply passengers.
