  1. Tigers starting to have the stench of thinking that they can just turn it on whenever they need to. I suppose that type of arrogance only comes from sustained success, however their hunger is clearly missing and when that goes, it ain’t as easy as simply flicking a switch. Tigers time at the top is over. Only hope that I can one day say the same thing with the Dees.
  2. Kossie should have told Jack to stick that arm he raises after every goal up his ar$e

They are very much out of vogue. Upsetting for Tommo, but I’d go down the normal graft acl route. Get his recovery right and his knee will be as good as new.
  4. our team should be really fresh for next weeks game, given half of them didn’t seem to warrant putting in too much effort (captain included).

Jack and his [censored] foot. Next TMAC will start having problems with his toe. Gosch’s needs to be dug up and relaid, even if to make sure that it isn’t a contributing factor.
  6. To go on top of his current contract, another 5 years would take him through to 2027 (where he would be turning 32 prior to the 2028 season). 5 years would be more than sufficient. As i doubt he'd be looking to start at another club at 32 years old and after 13 years with the Dees.
  7. Played with a broken nose too
  8. Agree @jnrmac, utter bs. They just missed out on Kozzie the same way they just missed out on Jack Viney.
  9. Wish him all the best. He's had to deal with a lot of [censored] the past few years, hope luck falls his way.
  10. Might need to be the Weid + Harmes. I’d still do the trade (if BB turns out like we hope and LJ continues to impress), as you need to bat deep in the midfield.
  11. IMO it has something to do with belief. This group was riding a wave of momentum during our September run in 2018. Instead of thinking we should be there or that we belong there, maybe this group finally understands that actions and actions alone get you there. Maybe they have finally decided that they are there.

Puck em. Embrace it. Keep winning and stick it up the lot of them.
  13. Hope we don’t shoot ourselves in the foot against North the following week.
  14. All things must come to an end. Tigers’ will experience theirs. I just hope to hell that I get to experience going through it with the Dees.
  15. Whilst it can be said for the majority of the team today, Brayshaw was bog ordinary for the first 3 quarters (and i don’t like him as a winger). Maybe try TMac on a wing as a link up tall (Max can’t continually be relied upon to be that link man and will need time to rest either up forward or on the bench) and then have Langdon patrol the ‘quiet’ wing, as his pace and endurance is first rate, as is his unwavering effort. The question then turns to what we do with Gus, but I’d definitely have TMac in ahead of him atm.
  16. Kicking is woeful. up steps Max. 50 out and puts it through goal post height

Long May they dwell in the doldrums
  18. 44191 showing up on my browser, o d.
  19. Yep, I wouldn’t move him back, keep him where he is having the greatest influence. Lever can co-ordinate the backline, and if there is some niggle that’s needing to be sorted, I’m sure Jack will gladly make his way down to see what’s going on.
  20. I'd trade Brayshaw a million times before even thinking of letting Viney go (and i don't want to trade Brayshaw). For all his limitations, Viney does not take a backward step, gives 100% and is always happy to be the first one to rampage through the wall. His onfield leadership and physicality becomes all the more important, now that May is out for a month.
  21. Well I reckon it is a bit of a danger game for us. We would’ve been up for the Cats game (and given our 4 quarter effort we were), throw in that our general down back is out with a fractured eye socket and that ANZAC Eve might be on the minds of some players.........not as confident this week as I was against the Cats. If we mean business this year we will beat the dorks, but we need to start well to shut their deluded fans up and stifle any sniff of them getting a run on.
  22. 2 more years is great news. [censored] I’d settle for rolling single year extensions. The longer he is at the club, the better our chances of fulfilling the ultimate. Next up, Trac
  23. He’ll go for that. Head butting is a serious no-no in today’s game
