I agree with this. So many posters seem too willing to write off Jones rather than view his role in the side for what it is. 2010 was very much a development year for Jones, his role was different by the end of the season from what it was at the start. Unless the right deal comes up, I think Jones is a required player for at least the next 12 months.

I haven't got time to do the full comparision, but in the breakdown between wins (including Draw) and losses: In our 13 Losses Green kicked 31.7. In our 8 wins and one draw Green kicked 24.20. That seems pretty consistent to me.

If you're looking for similarities how about comparing Matthew Newton to Andrew Lovett. In terms of real world issues, outside of football, the issues of these two people bare more relevance to each other than a self confessed drug addict in Ben Cousins. I think it's time to move on from the Ben Cousins issue and leave it to his family and close friends to look out for him.

If we are going to start discussing Matthew Newton then maybe this thread should be moved to general discussion. Seriously, Ben has done the most damage to himself with his addiction and dragged his family down with him. Matthew Newton has been charged with domestic and spousal abuse, physical and violent assault of women!! These are two completely different issues and should be dealt with as such!

This is true, if they want any other players from the same club, they will need to trade for them.
