His ability to get his hands free and release a handball at such speed (and often crazy angles) is phenomenal... And as you pointed out, it is more often than not a handball from above his head! At this early stage of his AFL career, he has me hardening quicker than a bag of rapid set every time he goes near the ball

I tend to agree that we will not be better without him, but I won't be too upset as I think we will convincingly beat the filth next week... Vince is great and I only question his method of moving the ball forward as it has irked me so far this year. I have found myself struggling with crazy thoughts so far this season.... Most notable being the voice in my head telling me we have the wrong guy as captain... I need a lie down as the roller coaster ride we have endured thus far is clearly causing me some head trauma!

I think 1 week for stupidity alone... Am i the only one thinking that Bernie has had a pretty average start to the season? Don't get me wrong... I have a man crush on Bernie, but so many times today I saw him just hack the ball forward on a 90deg angle without even raising his eyes... I understand the whole "move it forward quickly" mentality, but this action more often than not ends up with the opposition defenders marking uncontested and beginning a foray forward... Was actually really annoying me today... I think if he does get a week, then a part of me will be looking forward to seeing the team dynamic without him...

THIS is the biggest problem we have...

After a week of soul searching I have just read Sledgy's article and I agree 100% with what he has put together. I am angrier than I have ever been at the club and expect the next 3 weeks to change that mindset... But that can only happen with the playing group actually making a stand and showing the world that they "give a fkuc" I have even been as low this week, as to start to wonder if Jones is the right captain?!?! Last week's game was a bloody disgrace and better be the LAST time I cry tears of heartbreak caused by the club I love!

I'm bloody excited to be jumping in the Navara with my 7 year old little Demon for a road trip on Anzac Weekend! I have been hoping beyond hope that we either see Petracca or Trengove play against the Tigers. My lad has never been to the home of football....
