Agreed. The umpiring was terrible tonight. But the Demons impotent "connection" into the forward line was far worse!

Harvey "The Bison" Langford kicked a very classy goal for the Demons against the Cats tonight. One of the few positives from the evening down at Kardinia Park.

Petracca's anger and frustration after the loss to Geelong was significant. The vision of this has been replayed a few times now. In some ways, it is good, because it shows he hates losing and wants the Demons to win. But it could also be a sign that he is fed up and wants to leave.... Let's hope it's the former rather than the latter.

Competitive for 3 quarters. But do enough players want to bleed for the Demons jumper? Our membership department must be a ghost town at the moment. Probably getting more abuse than membership enquiries. How do we stem the bleeding at the Melbourne Football Club? What can we do about our impotent forward line? Why are we playing so poorly? Is it skill? Is it endeavour? Will Simon Goodwin still be coaching the Demons next year in 2026? Alot of serious discussions for the entire Melbourne Football Club need to be had. Things need to change!

Simon Goodwin probably has as much pressure on him as Michael Voss now.... However, the players have to take responsibility for the poor performances too. Very few players want to bleed for the Demons jumper at the moment. That probably angers me the most. Sadly, in a game where winning matters, it is going to take a miracle for Simon Goodwin to still be coaching the Demons in 2026.

We were competitive until the 4th quarter. Had our chances....but unfortunately our forward line lacks potency. The pressure goes up further on our Club. Simon Goodwin is in BIG trouble now....he is coaching for his career.

How's Jai Culley going? Hopefully he gets a few kicks? Fingers crossed he kicks a goal or two as well! 🤞🏻

I am still frustrated that the Demons don't employ a part-time specialist goal-kicking coach. There's plenty of retired Demons that might be able to come down to the Club and help. You've got David Neitz, David Schwarz, Garry Lyon, Jeff Farmer and even Allen Jakovich who could be asked?

Such a massive relief! We all feared the worst. An ACL would of been devastating! Glad that Xavier will be alright. ❤️💙 Wishing him a speedy recovery from his knee injury.

Has Simon Goodwin lost the players? Why aren't the Demons players responding to his instructions? What is going wrong with the team? To lose to the Gold Coast Suns at the MCG is humiliating! The one positive, how good was Harvey "The Bison" Langford?! I was very impressed with him. Lastly, will Xavier Lindsay be alright? We are all hoping that his knee injury isn't an ACL. I guess it's a slow process. It also sounds like a lot of potential candidates either aren't interested or already have got plum jobs and they don't want to leave. David Chippindall may get the CEO role permanently if he gets the Demons a shorts sponsor by April?
