  1. Machsy, Lack of professionalism is a huge reason we have performed so poorly as a club for so long. It also costs us supporters
  2. It's those that took their young kids along that I feel most angry for. As TDI has witnessed, I've taken my little ones many times and it's hard to keep them entertained even with training happening. That said, it's also a great way to get the kids hooked, particularly with the players being so good with them generally. To leave such families waiting 90 minutes from the advertised start time is just deplorable. I would be livid if they treated my family like they have treated others today. As for not having a membership tent, maybe like with Casey, it was a bit far for them to travel.
  3. No membership tent? The more we think things are changing the less they are. Unbelievable (but not surprising!)
  4. Whoever at the club thought that this was acceptable form should get their backsides kicked. To treat supporters, many of whom are families, like this is just not acceptable.
  5. Even from the other side of the world I knew the details of this event leading up to it. Extremely poor form by the club. Roos has taken a broom through half the club, PJ may need to borrow that broom as from what I have seen there are still people at the club that are not serious professionals.
  6. Will give us little idea on how the MRP will operate IMO despite numerous revamps, the one thing the last decade has taught us is that they are consistently inconsistent and as the Judd and Pavlich and numerous others showed, all animals are created equal, though some are created more equal than others
  7. I will be watching this one again closely, as when I watched the game the first time (and when they replayed the free kick - or maybe I did) it looked like one of the clumsiest free kick you would see. Matt was standing over the Freo player and jumped straight into his back by my recollection. Will watch it again as I can't for the life of me recall Jones staying to the side
  8. For no reason? How about the fact that you are a bore. The fact that you make up theories and ridicule those who disagree with them. The fact that you are a broken record with your pathetic attempt of humour with regards to the golden ticket. No reason at all.
  9. Glad to see the AFL have done a u-turn on this issue. The admin has shown that nothing has changed and they don't give a flying about fans when they tried to stop such streams as "they would not be the quality that our fans have come to expect". They were happier for us to have nothing. Obviously the public backlash has been strong enough to make the sods change their stance on this.
  10. Fair point, much better we just make up theories and then tell everyone twenty times how plausible they are...
  11. It's only one game, so let's not get carried away. Not that we can't hope that he has many more like it...
  12. Seriously? People here are not saying they don't care about drink driving, more so the stupidity of missing a court date. Garlett and his excuse of a manager have stuffed up here, but it's not an offence that deserves suspension IMO, if he had been drink driving while at the Demons it would be a different story and most if not all would be calling for a suspension, but this is not the issue. The issue is 2 very foolish people not knowing about a court case and not informing the club about something they had forgotten about!
  13. Jack has always shown a big heart towards young fans, can't sing his praises more for that. We just need to see more of that heart on the football field.
  14. Thought someone mentioned that Terlich played on Kent, but not sure.Disagree with Saty on wanting to see Terlich as a Tagger, never tight enough on his man for me. I honestly see him becoming a depth player, not in the first 22 but an important role to play if we are going to really improve
  15. He is definitely a second key forward, bot as the main man as he has had to be. That said he can be a very good second forward alongside of Hogan and any of Gawn, Howe, Pedersen or Fitzy and be very effective. One thing Dawes does fantastically is to compete, he may not take a lot of one grabbers but his competitiveness may very well lead to many extra goals for a true small forward who knows how to shark a contest and capitalise on it
  16. To my settings, another for the ignore function!
  17. I've got many wrong Macca, just not Sylvia.
  18. I get what you are saying, but my point is that while most don't see past the pick 3, some do. yes the conversation would be different with many here, but not with those that judged Sylvia on his pathetic attitude early.
  19. Most would have probably felt that way, but a few here and on the old 'ology called Sylvia out a long time ago. I started a thread with a heading along the lines of Sylvia being a pathetic excuse of a footballer some 5 odd years ago and copped it big time. Some of us never got caught up by the occasional glimpses of brilliance but rather saw a lazy spud who rarely gave 2nd efforts, who never did any gut running and who was not prepared to change. Pick 3 or 53 makes no difference to such observers.
  20. If he went at pick 53, he would still be considered a lazy and stupid footballer. As he has always been and as a few spotted and called over 5 years ago
  21. One of first picked players after Jones and Tyson. That is saying he would be picked between 3 and 7 IMO. Based on my belief that he was as good as Martin in his first two years and the hypothetical (have you looked it up yet) that he was fully fit, I would consider that a perfectly fair assumption (you may need to look that one up to).
