Have always been a bit suspicious of free kick stats. Was reading 9-2 early in second, I posted about it then. Now reads 9-7 at half time. Lewis got a holding the man free late in second, pretty sure there was another Hawks free in there, but not recorded in stats...

Not really. Let me start by prefacing this as saying I don't see us as being a chance to get Dangerdive. But.... If Adelaide match the Cats offer and there is no chance of a deal happening, Danger could wet his pants and decide not to risk ending up in the draft and at Carlscum so rather than take his chances, elects to go with some certainty, signs with us on a 5mill, 5 year deal that has 2 mill in the first year, 750,000 for the next four years. The first years front loading ensures the crows can't match it. Not going to happen, but thought I would post it to give the dreamers some hope.

If he goes to the pre-season draft, he can name his price. I suspect he wouldn't be lowering his price if that were the case. The reason he wouldn't want to go PSD is that Carlscum will get him and they are on the nose more than anyone

Just lacking in skills, speed and endurance to make it. Sad, I liked him and wanted him to succeed, loved the way he would tackle, a brilliant proponent of that skill, he knew how to legally hurt his opponent. Good luck to him.

I believe both Harmes and King have been on the rookie list for 2 years now. You can only have one 3rd year rookie, that is King. That being said, Harmes has to be cut or upgraded. I'm guessing the latter

Good news. White will get his chance next year if good enough. King needs to keep developing to be able to replace one of Dawes or Pedo next year...

That said, I don't really care on arguing the merits on 2 NQR's, my whole point is that giving Pedo only a one year contract says absolutely nothing about Dawes

Please point out where I say I think Dawes is better value for money. Please let us know why Roos picks Dawes before Pedo? Is it just the paycheck?

Like how Chris had more contested marks per game than Nick Riewoldt, Mumford, NicNat, Goodes, Buddy, Pavlich or Tex Walker? Cale Morton, many had him top 3, others not even top 10. TGR was loud before draft on how a team from out West wouldn't have touched him.So high pick now is only a top 5... Ed. are you related to Stuie?

That is just not true. Both Gysberts and Cook were first round draft picks that were not expected to go where they eventually went.
