Im not sure why people want to continuay get knoves out, whether its for Schwab or Jacko or anyone. Companies make commercial decisions. Who reasonably coud have known the German were a bunch of inept sooks ? Its most likely Jacko and his Commercial man are already engaging new potential sponsors. Just because they havent been decent enough to phone you or me about it is hardly cause for rancour We'll go into 14 with 2 new sponsors with all the possibility of a better deal from both. They are opportunities. Embrace it. Of course they are accountable , in so far as its there job to get others. Let them do just that.

A ittle disappointing. thought they had extended through 14. One drives off and the other flies off. So be it Next

Are GWS offering Dylan and Shiel ??

Dont actually agree. A littel long winded but its like a game of 3D chess played out as a 3 act play. A lot of things get lined up for that last week . Almost like the horses turning for the home straight in the cup, then its on for young and old...lol. About to get interesting

State of Play - 3 October and beyond

Just a gut hunch. Either Shiel or we go to the draft. if so highly possible its Freeman.. Be happy with either outcome -
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BERNIE VINCE
beelzebub replied to Ted Lasso's topic in Melbourne Demons
exactly....half a dozen deals hanging perilously by the arbitrary values placed into these deals. All could go through or all could fold, all for the want of a pick or two. -
State of Play - 3 October and beyond
beelzebub replied to spirit of norm smith's topic in Melbourne Demons
At this juncture is purely speculating but as to where it could all possibly land; if things were to go our way ( I know, when's that ever transpired...lol ) we could be looking at a list which has the following mids. * denotes existing #traded/drafted Jones * Viney* Toumpas* Trengove* Michie # Lyons# Vince# Cross # Freeman# youd have to think we could make a better fist of games with that ? -
No probs i tend to agree with your thinking about this. The more you look at it the more it would strike a reasoned thinker that there can be NO jumping at the first live candidate simply if they are a potential fit. It must be the 'right ' fit. Roos seems to have a clear idea ( whether its right or wrong atm is immaterial as we have no influence) as to who ( as an ilk ) he sees as the natural successor. if you dont find a suitable one in the first instance you have to wait otherwise everything is compromised, defeating all purposes. For mine I dont really care if he ( successor ) doesnt show/become -avail for even 2 years. id rather get the right person and find ways to accommodate that when it happens. maybe Roos stays on even longer...who knows etc. I dont think anything despite the accepted contracts re Roos/MFC is really set in concrete. Melbourne needs to prove itself. This wont happen overnight.

I think an aspect to this that some of us are suggesting needs be applied when considering all this and thus tempering expectations is that theres little if any real consistency to this compo lark

did you mean end of 14 ?
