Maybe ten clubs thinking they can deal but in reality probably only 2-3 have anything we want. Might some very ambitious deals being touted by some clubs hoping we for some reason are desperate to waste it. Of course we arent. Fall back being using it ourselves So a deal might get done yet. im leaning towards we end up using it though, especially if we can get some of these other deals i.e Vince, Lyons, Michie, Cross done then the urgency for an immediate gun subsides a little. I cant see us wasting it.

Not sure why we're still trying to solve this problem today. Its now officially a non issue for 13 Invariably its most likely a whole truckload of candidates will emerge over the coming season. This whole equation will change character in that timeframe. Its a bit like someone worrying about how much their latte will be upon retirement....its nothing you can change today. Who knows what tomorrow brings

This it isnt it. Somehow everyone's (well many ) a notion that we can go a long way to curing all of our ills in one foul swoop of a trade/draft. In all likely hood what we will achieve is a decent leg up but no cure. We can put into place a 'better' team" that can facilitate competitiveness and an incubator for burgeoning talent. We still need shoring up in places other than the midfield. That's our priority but we cant ignore other parts of the ground. we will have tall fwd timber coming out of our proverbials but we still need people at ground level.
