Smith needs more games.... probably. Are these next 4 games the ones I ask myself. No. We need the very best 22 ...players for jobs ,( able to be done well ) Now's not a time to blood...or near to ,players.

I'd be happy for Pedo to come in. Has far more attributes than Smith ( at this stage of his career )

Is it a throw though ? He released the ball... to himself...for the purposes of kicking...which he did. Had he not connected... it's a throw.

Well what a cracker of a result for us....and what a weekend of footy. The Dees have to bring this intensity and desire every week. If we don't... others will. What a run home ?

In fairness though... there's two aspects here. Yep...great we won. Go Dees but I think Jnr is legit in reminding that it was not really emphatic. It could have been another loss at the line. A few things working in our favour...and yes that's life. I'll take that win...thanks footy gods..but Jesus we need to find better ways of shutting up shop when we're leading in the last.

Well...the wife had an early start this morning...an early night last night.. resulting in the telly going off half way through the third. What a pivotal moment . I really hadn't liked our chances going in to this but what a brilliant surprise awaited when checking scores before. Still worries me ..so much fumbling. Reading some posts it looks like it might not have gone our way had they been a bit more accurate ...but we got the choccies...and in peasoupsville no less. I hope that poster's old man had a big smile as he walked home past all those crow's nests to those that made a late decision to go...well lucky you Well am off to watch what I missed. Go Dees

We need to manage a few if we're to have a decent crack at September. Rest Hogan....or he's cooked. A no brainer really. Personally I'd like to see Pedo in for Smith. Can at least understands the game. Now is not about games into NOOBS...it's about assembling a finals team. Let's not cut off nose as they say. I still think JKH is not up to it.. Some might suggest no change but I think it's imperative to give some a rest and tweak what is an imperfect line up. If we're to do this...well... let's get serious mum
