  1. I do agree its really just the margin. I did pre-empt with " i don't expect to win" . Our "game" won't be afforded the freedom it was on Sat and i don't think it ever will when pressed by more able teams. Petty is ok fwd if not 'manned' which of course makes him less than useful under more trying conditions. Doubt Goidy will put him back ( where he belongs lol ) Wonder if Windsor will be afforded another run in the middle where better suited. Hopefully JC returns ( intentional lol ) . Let's trust Kozzy is feeling better. Can't recall who needs/betting on 40 pts but they might get their returns. Im leaning more towards 20/30 unless the Dogs get a hold of us. Still think it'll be a game worth watching. You know ...there'll be learnings to be had 😉
  2. He's not alone. Doggies will be interesting.
  3. Im not expecting to win... I think a few guys might have revisited their "better foitball" v Weagles. As some suggest ( and I'd agree ) it's hard to measure when the oppo isn't that flash. That said there was semblance of linking . Much of these 'better passages" WILL be put to a higher test against the puppies but I'm thinking this might be a more even game than some might predict. Might come down more to a battle of wits. Going to be an interesting game imo.
  4. Excellent point. It makes a mockery of the rule.
  5. Without argument it was good to win yesterday. It was encouraging to see a few lads sieze opportunity and make a good fist of things. Not looking to sad sack the event but think it has to be realised the two sides were differently motivated. If you don't understand you're not paying attention. Reality is Reality. Will be interesting ( to say the least ) what we now can bring to the final 3 games ... against much differently focused teams. I wish those pushing their careers along the very best of luck.
  6. I believe some maybe unwittingly conflating timeliness with voracity. It to me is somewhat damning that much of what she describes can indeed be suggested as being old news. But it's still relevant as were so bloody slow to address anything. That is the sad thing.
  7. Tmac is 195 .. Culley is a handy size. A few more games won't hurt him.. or us.
  8. It's not the worst for sure
  9. Please...... you jest.... others mightn't 😉
  10. ....against a half baked outfit that's just asked the AFL for ANOTHER pick 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 Guy's a genius
  11. OK 😀
  12. She's a keeper is ol' Kelli 😉
  13. It's a lot better to win than to lose..... (and even worse to win and lose in the same game...) Chuffed for Culley... I mean who'd da thunk ??.. ( except a lot of people... lol ) Fancy playing a bloke suited to the midfield...in the midfield.. genius. What surprises await !! Not a lot to take away otherwise.. AFL side v not-really AFL side... let's be real. That said I hope supporters enjoy today and savour the scent of success... at least until next Sunday arvo where the first of 3 steam rollers awaits 🥴 But for now... grin away 😉
  14. Reality in... pretence out
  15. Thanks .. I was really just replying to Bin. Pert managed to eek yet more coin for God knows what !! Caulfield, about as symbolic of the club as anything in my view.
  16. Won't have long to wait today to know. I used to think the 1st qtr would give a good indication. But we've evolved that to 3 and even then ...who the ...
  17. Correct choice . Enjoy your day 👍
  18. Yet actions speak louder than words. It's McVee ( and/or management) that's not budging. Had something amenable to sign all season...but hasn't 🤔🤔🤔 Club's a clusterthuck of harmony and success... what's not to like ?? Waiting for the dust to settle and scene become clear imho. Dont blame him.
  19. Hasn't he recently departed all things Melbourne after finishing his little consultancy like 'casho' wrt Caulfield ?
  20. Bingo
  21. We've suspected systemic dysfunction for some time. This isn't really anything new as in just this year. A lot of 'groundwork' for our inept adventures in management and development have been obvious for years. Describing us as a basketcase I think a bit ripe. A conflicted circus might be more accurate. What you see on gameday essentially represents the disarray of confliction behind the scenes. MFC ... how not to go about things 101
  22. That's Disturbing
  23. I suspect a lot of 'everything ' is in flux currently. Much might depend on what happens at eos.
  24. Definitely the norm. He's not alone. Annoying that they all seem able to pick off someone, sometimes. What i have noticed, or think I'm seeing is that many other team's players seem to know where players or space will materialise. Us, not so much. Is this a reason for haphazard i50 entries ? I dunno... but we are poor at it. The bombing.... is it chicken an egg situation ?? Our fwd craft is somewhere between non existent to abysmal. They all seem able to pass at practice. Funny that. Mind you they kick a lot of goals too when just kicking it around etc.
