There is a little of this for sure. Win, win well , and there's some momentum and belief... Lose... well.... let's just not go there. A few ( arguably more ) need to pull fingers out. We ought to be much better than displaying. For mine the absolute non-negotiable is a full 4 qtrs of effort. If we even look like "protecting" a lead.. I'll be rabidly filthy.

Interesting view. He is one of the very few that knows how to use his body cleverly and kick to advantage. That said sometimes tge recipient isn't on the same frequency and it can go pearish. I think he's been hampered in past by niggles. That may be part of a logic in running a game out for Casey first. But if he IS fit and raring to go.. i'd let him. We a bit shy on good options atm. Hear what you're saying though.

I personally don't accept the 'conservatism' rationale. We still have runners. A simple edict given to player after player suggesting , " give it all, go for it"... " 'or stay out there after the final siren' wouldn't go astray. A simple directive is all it takes. If we went limp biscuit it's only because that was part of a plan, albeit instituted too early. You only defend a game ( if at all ) in the last minutes....should you be ahead . Otherwise...well , just look at us.

Mentally.... i reckon he crosses onto the pitch and he's good to go.. That's just him. Physically... very much the question. Logic would suggest a run in the magoos. No point being sub ...imho. But for mine tge caveat is a 75% Milshake is still better than some other options.

Agree, but requires more poise coming out of half back towards the arc. A few a too slap-it-on-boot happy. Is this just us devoid of necessary skill, or just poor coaching.. by whoever is in charge of this area ? We seem very unconvincing when we switch back towards the corridor as we get closer to goal. Is this bad habit footy or lack of practice ?

You and many others struggle with reality don't you. Again I neither care for glass half full nonsense nor subscribe to abject negativity. I'm just for calling spades spades. I see nothing to get excited about going goal-less in final qtrs two games running. I get annoyed when sfa get moved or rejigged magnetwise during a game until it's too late....if then. I have liked seeing some lads get a run but the treatment of Pup is borderline reprehensible and all but hypocrisy. A seemingly missed point by some is... when we're going ok...there's actually far less to criticise. And how many times is required...de riguer ..to slap each other tickled pink happy to make membership of the OK-ers ?? I'll continue to maintain my perspective as it simply states what is. Currently we're a little all at sea with no one apparently in charge on the bridge and the engine-room struggling to keep pace against the tide. Very much looking forward to Lever getting back to normal. Also Melksham might get his hand on the tiller. Least he knows what to do. Looking forward to 4 qtrs of footy. Maybe I'll see it Sunday. If i may... can i reverse the question. Who is good enough to keep Milkshake out ?? Hes got more footynouse in one big toe than many and more ability in the other than some currently racking up games. Even at 75% id play him as he'd know how to get to the end of the last qtr.. unlike some who reckon 3 are all thats required. Serious question... to any. Who keeps him out ??

Especially if you watch Melbourne ... no discernable plan B to see or comment on. No danger of getting bit by us. If i could be bothered id be curious to watch the game at kitty cat park. Be interesting to see how the wees and pews adapt. Our games days are predictable in that we will change up very late ( read too late ) or mot at all. And that is used against us by better teams.

Trap was a rather unique player. Very deceiving really. Granted he probably waxed and waned some. Where some saw lethargy i saw comsidered composure. He had the very rare ability to amost make time slow around him. He seemed to play in space where there was none. Quite something to watch. An absolutely sublime kick.

Has always been a waste of time

I sorta argued with my good wife...a collywobbler ....at the time when Moore whacked Trac. Her view...how can you say that he's a good decent player... Me.. no 'decent' player leads with a knee...and that's not how you 'spoil'. Fell on deaf ears... and I decided I wasn't winning any debate.... (seldom do...lol ) Yes...the lad speaks well..... he's also ....let's say.... very 'careless' Fool me once shame on you....twice, shame on me... what do we do for Four and above ???

As it happens I know his Aunt... and we've chatted about Bailey..I've said exactly that...I don't think he thinks he quite yet belongs. He might never. But he needs a solid block with good mentoring.. He actually has a pretty good footy head on him, but i sense he second guesses himslef at times. He doesnt at magoo level. He does at Senior level. If he could bring his flair and coolness to the big game he would be an OK player imho.. we'll see...or not ...I guess.

Learnings are one thing ...DOING another We wonderfully snatched defeat from the jaws of victory by being our own worst enemy. P.s. Footy goes for 4 qtrs ;) Good effort by some, horribly let down by $$ thieves
