I've actually maintained we might be better this week than some suspect. 2 particular things of interest to me. Can the zest and verve created by a few inclusions and moves of magnets be maintained. Can we hold up 4 qtrs against teams hell bent on denying us our 4 pts . We shall see i guess

And we did so by thumping the BOTTOM teams, undermanned at that and whose only carrot is 'another' pick. Yet all you mention are actually valid observations. And I'll be interested ( really ) to see how those metrics go this week against a team motivated by finals. Hopefully not too many team changes and we can have another look at this (our ) setup. Looking forward to it. No expectations, just interest.

It would be quite logical ( from an outside perspective ) for Reid to move. I sense we haven't even begun to see the outrageous silliness of the Circus main tent yet. The Big Top begets big contracts. Im not thinking the Sqawkers would tip ALL their shekels into one basket..There might be internal resistance to that. Such being possibly the case Tracc ( or similar ) might be more attractive. Time, as they say will tell. Christian may well end up staying... but he'll be on a few clubs "interest-list" .

Just to say this and the prior posting perfectly ( imho ) encapsulates the Goodwin predicament. You've addressed the nuances which seem to escape some. A mistake in my view is for many the question is " is Goodwin a good or bad coach ?" This goes to the simple criteria of ...is he capable. As you correctly suggest the real litmus is... is he Able ? And this is where it becomes about limitations as the previous is about abilities. ( ironically) Im reminded a little of Kyosaki who would profer, its not whether you can, but whether you will. At Melbourne there's lots of things we could do,but we don't. . This could/should be on another thread but thought to address your post where it is.

I tend to agree on the basis of what we know or think we know. Ahh... but the Circus hasn't quite hit town yet though i can just make our their wagons at the town limits. Much I suspect may turn on what if anything transpires at season's end.

Tis curious, and please bear with me, that many lampoon ne castigate any and all that seem remotely negative about our position. What you're wanting is to be the epitome of 'negative' . Don't get me wrong it is actually a kind of worthy incentive as there can be no other (?) but it's very sad really if this is all we can aspire to. A peculiar choice of sorts.... play new talent in the hope of discovery and looking forward.... or..... play what we know in the hopes of producing a negativity !! I've no faith at all that we can achieve much ( there i am mr negative ) but I'd rather play fair dinkum and have at it with some who surely have earnt a chance .
