Well..its not too bad.. quite good in some respects. Good to see so many games at home ( our real home ) . We lucked out with 2 trips to the west and one to the Abyss aka Geelong !!. I find this a two edged sword really. If we can put on spiritied performanaces or even snag a win or two at these venues then we have arrrived. Collingwood wont do this, we can grumble but its our lot for the moment. I still has many misgivings about this game in Darwin.. July !!! hmmm.. thats the 'sweaty' season folks.. I think its foolhardy , but its the clubs decision. Two bites of the GWS pie is marvellous Only 2 games at Wastelands... a great outcome. Its ok...no one ( unless youre that other club ) gets a dream draw. We can make a good fist of this one. A bit of a shame going west before coming home for the finals !! Go Dees

I would think it'll be a cold day in hell before much really eminated from the bowels of GWS . Keep in mind its books are really just a chapter of the AFL's own. Vlad isnt likely to unveil much anytime soon. Be interesting to see where Holmes heads next.

2010 seemed an unfortuanate false start to what promises to be an unglamourous but distinctly watchable and talented performance over many years. Theres a lot to like about Rohan Must be one of the very few players to extract an almost united appraisal..lol Now that's something. He not quite as good ( yet ) but reminds me of someome in his almost shy/humble but prolific work ethic/style. Really wish this lad the best.

Not worked up at all.. couldnt care less really about wastelands. . The simple fact is , its a stuff up. They obviously didnt advise heavily enough. No one accepts it was built to the correct orientation , hindsight or otherwise. What exacctly is the point Luts.. Essendon are building an oval ?? big whoopd de doo. Are they going to sytheseise a weather machine to faciltate all parameters as well. . They going to employ hunderds of talented athletes to replicate real opposition ? Of course not. Theyre just building an oval. Two, to the shapes of Wastelands and the G. Good for them. I should imagine if we go to Doclands wed build a G to play on also.
