Everyone knows Gawn is a shocking kick at goal. Can he at least try a snap shot like everyone else does, handball it to someone running by or chip it backwards to a better kick.

Sparrow needs a PR team like ANB. Nobody knows what his role is but he has no trade value because nobody knows what he does. Great overhead mark for his body size and one of the better kicks on goal but wtf is his role? JVR who i thought would be a great key forward but can't take a clean mark. Petty - is being found out with his sub par below the knees skills and turning circle like the titanic Kolt - speed maps are elite but footy IQ makes him slow Petracca - the greatest player i have seen since Matthew Larkin who can can stand up in a tackle when half the other team is hanging off him. Anybody who thinks we paid overs needs to get a life. Kozzie is the only player in the last 30 years that is in Alan Jackovich or Geoff Farmer teritortory. He is only 24 and got his best footy ahead of him. Players don't come around often like that. You can draft an A grade midfielder or exceptional forward but when you have someone who has an x factor that can't be replicated and other teams genuinely fear, you move heaven and earth to keep them. Well done MFC this is a pivotal moment for the club and will be on the right side of history.

The thing that pisses me off about this game the most besides the umpiring is the demonland response to Gawn and Oliver's kicks at the end of the game. FfS the season was on the line and we had to go at all costs. Two of the greatest Demons tried and it didn't come off for either but this idea they had to lower their eyes is [censored]. Petracca fumbled and stumbled before he got it to Clarry. Had he not [censored] that up Oliver could have had a proper ping at it and either put us ahead or got a point where we could have forced a kickout, locked the ball in and potentially got another shot on goal. When Gawn got it we knew the time left and had to go coast to coast. We couldn't be cute about it. Had to go at all costs They both made the right decision

Maybe I've got blinkers on but outside of last week when he left training early with an ankle injury and didn't train or run again before the game. I'd say he is the most damaging player in the league. Nobody is getting 20+ possesions a game and kicking 2+ goals, like he does. His record of getting 20+ possesions with 5+ goals in a game is up their with the absolute elites of the game over the last 20 years and he is still young. His value is higher than anyone else in the league and I don't think Freo could come to finding a trade for that even if he requested a trade.
