I have been a massive Goody supporter but take this to the bank, we can't sack him until we appoint a CEO. It doesn't matter if we miraculously win the next 10 games straight he is gone. There are alot of Melbourne ex players who's names don't normally come up that want him gone and it has nothing to do with the game plan. Communication with the members has been hopeless at Melbourne for since ever. Brad Green has been a breathe of fresh air. I think part of our problem is we haven't had any good assistant coaches since Yze. Has a president ever gone on to coach? At this stage I'd take Brad Green. He's one of the few I trust at the club And give him some proper assistant coaches

One of the more bizarre posts I've ever seen on Demonland. We've won 1 premiership in 50 years and Viney/Clarry were integral in that. That style of uncompromising footy they played shouldn't be coached?

Keepings off will never work for us with Gawn, Oliver, Petracca and Viney. It might in the future with X, mcphee, Langford and kolt. But I think we are playing catchup with our recruiting rather than leading. When old man Viney was at the club we only recruited players who were competitive. Look at the players we have taken outside the national draft and besides Aiden Johnson we haven't continued down that path. I'm so fed up with arm chair experts and ex-players saying we don't play the modern game. The modern game is a myth and always evolving based on who wins the premiership. The fact is we won a premiership based on our strengths and recruited around that. If we follow what the Hawks or others do now we will never be as good. We need to build our style that suits us and let others follow again. With out any data to back this up I'd guess kozzie, mcVee and Windsor are the quickest players on our list. They are all missing. Chandler would be up there with them and no surprise he is excelling at the moment. A game plan is reliant on the cattle and at the moment we don't have it.

Can someone explain to me why Clarry wrestles with his player at every single centre bounce? I can't see the benefit.

Kozzie and Clarry keep. Gawn and May at the end and need replacing. Brand Petracca has to be on the table. Petty and Sparrow have not come on like they should have. Mcvee, Windsor, Langford and X can all get the footy and hit a target. They are the rebuild.
