Geelong Fined for "Inadvertent Admin Error"
Tom Browne has said that it was an error related to GST on management fees the club pays on behalf of players First question: why is the club paying management fees for players? Second question: how can you have stuffed up gst inclusions for EIGHT straight years??? Third question: getting gst wrong would also flag the tax office, surely - doubt they'd not notice for eight years of course, the football manager at the cats throughout at least seven of these eight years is now the football manager of the afl as a whole.......

GAMEDAY: MS02 vs Hawthorn
The beauty is a) we win and the preseason has been a successful campaign and b) we lose, and itâs only the preseason

TEAMS: MS02 vs Hawthorn
interestingly, hawks backline is stacked with talls - frawley, frost, and mcevoy is taller than anyone in our forward line, plus stratton, sicily and glass are all 190cm too, plus greaves 'plays tall' despite and is 186 or so very interesting the way clarko intends to play mcevoy behind the ball this year

PREGAME: MS02 vs Hawthorn
be interesting to see if we go in with 'this is our set up for round 1' or if we tailor based upon expectation and loading etc... B: Lockhart - May - Hibberd HB: Salem - Lever - Harmes ? Langdon - Petracca - Tomlinson HF: Jones - T McDonald - vandenBerg F: Fritsch - Brown - Pickett Foll: Weideman - Oliver - Viney I/c: Jackson - Spargo - Brayshaw - Gawn - Melksham - O McDonald - Neal-Bullen - Sparrow i reckon jetta might be 'rested' - general feeling based upon interviews etc. is that the vics v all-stars was way higher intensity and lots more running than most clubs were expecting based upon the gps data

New Role for Harmes
He started performing in this role late last year and was reasonably effective As others have said, Harmesâ flexibility gives him greater scope to be shifted around as opposed to someone like Brayshaw or Viney who is purely an inside beast and not much value deployed otherwise

Can âAshamedâ Dees Finally Deliver?
it's not so much a deep dive as it is a regurgitation of the tried and tested themes that have been written since midway through last season one interesting thing is that they don't think goodwin is under much pressure at all; couldn't disagree more the very fact that the red and blueprint demands finals in consecutive seasons from now til 2023 with one premiership immediately puts the pressure on the coach who saw the highs of 2018 end in ignominy and then continue on as abject failure in 2019
