  1. there's been plenty of stranger premiership heroes than o mac would be for us
  2. no, he was delisted ahead of maybe, possibly, trying to come back in 2021
  3. The balance of Harley in his kicking motion is fine fine fine
  4. be interesting to see if we go in with 'this is our set up for round 1' or if we tailor based upon expectation and loading etc... B: Lockhart - May - Hibberd HB: Salem - Lever - Harmes ? Langdon - Petracca - Tomlinson HF: Jones - T McDonald - vandenBerg F: Fritsch - Brown - Pickett Foll: Weideman - Oliver - Viney I/c: Jackson - Spargo - Brayshaw - Gawn - Melksham - O McDonald - Neal-Bullen - Sparrow i reckon jetta might be 'rested' - general feeling based upon interviews etc. is that the vics v all-stars was way higher intensity and lots more running than most clubs were expecting based upon the gps data
  5. that's where my mfcss went too
  6. yeah but nah yes, he's one-dimensional but he's hardly on his pat malone there hopefully we can see him play to his best consistently
  7. Once a month, replacing Lewis’ regular gig https://www.heraldsun.com.au/entertainment/confidential/max-gawn-to-join-fox-footys-afl360-panel-in-2020/news-story/317383683ee1586248a9e3eba9bccfb4
  8. He started performing in this role late last year and was reasonably effective As others have said, Harmes’ flexibility gives him greater scope to be shifted around as opposed to someone like Brayshaw or Viney who is purely an inside beast and not much value deployed otherwise
  9. wasn't it salem he said said this?
  10. it's not so much a deep dive as it is a regurgitation of the tried and tested themes that have been written since midway through last season one interesting thing is that they don't think goodwin is under much pressure at all; couldn't disagree more the very fact that the red and blueprint demands finals in consecutive seasons from now til 2023 with one premiership immediately puts the pressure on the coach who saw the highs of 2018 end in ignominy and then continue on as abject failure in 2019
  11. nev shoulda gone for goal!
  12. yes, probably true
  13. don't just...don't
  14. it won't ever happen mid-year again it's pre-season for charity - like this - or it won't happen and the goalkicking is appalling - and it was way windier at arden st today
  15. best small defender we've ever had? at least in recent memory - he's ahead of the likes of whelan, yeats, or johnson in terms of 'recent' memory
  16. how we nominated callum mills ahead of clayton oliver beggars belief thanks swannies for taking him! edit: what a perfect spoil from lord nev
  17. that third quarter was really good decision is - do i watch this hit n giggle state of origin or do i watch the dees' seconds?
  18. Can run, can’t kick, poor decision maker If we are any good, I don’t think he’s in our side TBH, I expect him to not be with us in 2021 and it wouldn’t surprise me if he wasn’t on an AFL list in 2021
  19. i put the moz on brayshaw effectively - roasted him (comparisons with tyson!) and then his second half was very good of those that played, you'd think he, melksham, tomlinson, pickett, and brown are likely round 1 starters rivers looked very good coming off half back however - lovely kick of the footy - and sparrow looks like nathan jones 2.0
  20. super impressed by pickett - continues to do the 'little things'
  21. my god brayshaw is slow he's no different to tyson - slow to use it, poor kick, okay tackle
  22. is that petty playing? that hair cut is a shocker brown is a lovely mark (and gets away with push in the back) but can't kick a set shot to save himself - 0 goals 4 from set shots today?
  23. pickett just missed from 10cm out in the goal square...man, that was hilarious
  24. our set shot goal kicking is ATROCIOUS
