  1. I actually read this the other way around; the glass half full look is that Majak is there is everything goes horrifically badly and our prime key forward / back / ruck options are injured or horrifically out of form Oh...wait...
  2. errr, no - category a rookie at the tiggas they were always likely to sign him up
  3. based on what we've seen thus far, i think they'll rush brayshaw and pickett back - prematurely imo - in order to have another big inside mid and a small forward who has genuine pace, but i can't see the likes of viney, hibberd, or melksham being good to go...and if may isn't okay for round 1 we might be in a spot of bother... B: Rivers - May - Lever HB: Hunt - Tomlinson - Salem C: Langdon - Petracca - Neal-Bullen HF: Fritsch - McDonald - Jones F: Chandler - Jackson - Pickett Foll: Gawn - Oliver - Harmes I/c: Spargo - Brayshaw - Bowey - Baker Emerg: Jordon - Sparrow - Petty - Jetta
  4. yeah, but it's relative - 2018 is looking pretty light on talent-wise some two years on outside the majority of the top 10 - which we traded out of to land may, kk, and sparrow - and a handful of players beyond that, it's hardly a super impressive crop
  5. being sarcastic? one was pick 27, the other was 33 - hardly high end picks not many from outside the top 10 of the 2018 draft have really cemented their roles at clubs as yet
  6. 6: may 5: lever 4: fritsch 3: neal-bullen 2: gawn 1: jones our mids were completely pantsed and it's just as well we have the likes of oliver to come back in
  7. Rayner from the bears sadly looks to have done his acl
  8. Viney a confirmed out for round 1 I believe, and I can’t see Hibberd playing personally
  9. i saw that too harmes really comes across as a terribly arrogant footballer for someone who is fairly ordinary in the grand scheme of things
  10. our tackling technique is woeful
  11. 3 goals 3 ain't 'straight'
  12. tomlinson knocked may into round 2
  13. honestly, the free kick differential is neither here nor there for mine - they have simply wanted it more, got to the front position, and worked far harder defensively
  14. tbh most teams are the same
  15. i can't see how tomlinson can be best 22 and us be a halfway decent side
  16. i keep telling myself that we're missing 9 of our ostensible best 22 and it's only a practice game but it's the same old story - can't hit targets, can't lay a tackle, don't run defensively
  17. good to see you can push may straight in the middle of the back and not have a free paid against you
  18. nibbler is by far and away the hardest running player in the side
  19. jordon is miles off being ready for senior footy
  20. if harmes is playing on a man...is there any chance he could actually play on the bont?
  21. our players can't hold their feet
  22. our next tier of mids are pretty ordinary - jordon, sparrow, baker can't clunk basic marks or get their hands on the footy
