  6. Wow small ball Not sure how I feel about that on the wide surfaces of the G
  7. that's terrible luck for heppell - likely to miss the rest of the season* *whatever the season entails
  8. i don't think so, personally
  9. when? i'm a big fan of the weed and am mighty surprised he's not in our best 22, but to say he's shown 'plenty more than t mac' is a complete fallacy
  10. well why should weideman get games based upon his 2018 form? t mac 2018 >>>>>>>> weed 2018 they've BOTH been super ordinary since
  11. incorrect the port adelaide football club - known as the magpies in the sanfl - had their license transferred to the afl there they adopted a new nickname, the power, so that they didn't clash with the pre-existing magpies the pamfc was formed essentially by the sanfl so that the magpies remained a local team in the domestic competition, based out of a completely different locale and training set-up to the actual pafc the one club initiative - led by brett duncanson and mark haysman, with a lot of former players in support and vital for media relations as much as anything - rejoined the two clubs as one, back to the pafc, where they remained the power in the afl and the magpies in the sanfl they're a true football club, not some godforsaken franchise a reminder... https://www.change.org/p/allow-port-adelaide-to-wear-its-black-and-white-prison-bar-guernsey-in-afl-showdowns
  12. dunno what yr talking about; jab clearly went to commentary school during the week dropped a "the hawks have come to play" when they'd kicked four
  13. who needs key forwards on the wide open expanses of the mcg?
  14. we're consistently inconsistent
  15. hore got dropped multiple times in a team with multiple injuries last season tell stevo to get his hands off it
  16. tiggas gw$ north filth bears puddy tatts gc17 peptides pear saturday arvo should be good filth vs aints into bears vs meth coke is a tasty treat of footy
  17. yep one good bit of play - trac chase and tackle - for a lot of very poor in that 'highlight' clip
  18. this he turned 24 earlier this year; it's hardly like he's washed up shouldn't even be at his peak, and should develop nicely alongside the other 18-25 year olds on our list: 13 of them played in our side's most recent win, and i'd hope that at least ten should be in our best / current 22 when the eldest turns 30 if i was doing a team with them all, right now... B: Lockhart - O Mac - Smith HB: Salem - Lever - Rivers ? Langdon - Petracca - Harmes HF: Hunt - Weideman - ANB F: Jackson - Fritsch - Pickett Foll: Preuss - Oliver - Brayshaw I/c: Hore - Petty - Sparrow - Bedford that's not a completely terrible 25 and under side by any stretch of the imagination
  19. he wasn't alone
  20. they're obsessed with gawn's ruck dominance, but i reckon this one could be a key part of actual bomberland thinking; gawn's aerobic capacity is the biggest thing they need to contend, as his ability to push back when the oppo ruck is stranded in the middle of the ground is a huge part of his arsenal please let oliver go head-to-head with parish it'll be interesting to see who heppell goes to as along with smith he's definitely the most defensively-minded of their mid rotations; viney v shiel could be a fun watch too their forwards are my biggest concern - walla, fantasia, townsend, stringer with mckernahan as the get out is a zippy and mobile forward line plus smith and parish rotating thru there...i just don't know about our match-ups for them... they only started really bombing it into their f50 in the last quarter i thought; we started doing it - when we could get our hands on the ball - midway thru the second it could be a good game or an absolute horror show
  21. roo is a loose cannon it's highly enjoyable watching that franchise implode
  22. crows wouldn't look at a mid like brayshaw the reason they'll let brad crouch go in the first place is cos they already have enough plodding one-way one-role mids; they want to get rid of one, not replace one with another
  23. yep everyone rants and raves about so many players, meanwhile oliver has been a gun from day dot
  24. if we sang the song as a team after losing it'd definitely be blown up as a bigger deal
